- Hello and welcome to The Everything is Black and White Podcast.
Andrew and Gibbo are back to share their 'dream but realistic' transfer window for Newcastle United.
Listen out for their choices as Newcastle look to improve the squad.
Well said John
Enjoyed this great content. Exciting times for us all , hopefully it all goes to plan and we get the players in we need. Looking forward to see us on the first day of the season. HWTL
Where is the proof that we offered Gordon or Isak to other clubs ?
Where is the proof that Gordon has had his “head turned” ?
Exactly, all paper talk to wind us up!
Enjoyed this on a wet Friday afternoon Downunder.
Let’s hope that him and Eddie are on the same page this time, it was pretty clear that Eddie did not like working with Cashworth. Joe pedigree is undoubted let’s hope that he can u earth some belters and also that Eddie will play them! HWTL
This was a great conversation. I deeply appreciate hearing from John, I feel like I'm having wisdom bequeathed unto me.
Thanks for saying so! It’s much appreciated.
Hopefully, this time next year we'll be able to add 3 elites in... Hall, Tonali and Barnes. Before any forthcoming signings soon!
"A blind panic"? They crushed it! They didn't sell anyone of real value. They sold fringe players for more than they were worth. People need to stop whinging.
Love it when you have John Gibson on I used to read all his words in the chronicle when I lived in Newcastle as a kid now a geordie boy living New Zealand & Toon Daft
I am agreed with john comments. Even joelinton can play centre forward. As long as he has 2 fantastic wingers near him.my favourite right winger after olise, is pedro neto.even in rotation time neto play with joelinton and gordon still they will do job.
John Gibson he is brilliant with his comments. If after today we going to sign pedro neto.malick thaiw I will accept and understand why we sacrifice young players and reduce goalkeeper standards. Alternatively a big mess or incompetence chairman's
Excellent pod Andrew 👏
I seemingly only ever agree 💯 with John's words of wisdom 👏👍
What evidence do we have that Gordon's head has been turned? Other than that agree with everything said.
He supports Liverpool
@@DanielCordone9and?
@@krispell8174 He wants to go to a bigger club. Liverpool have a better manager and can offer him European football. I'm not surprised he wants to leave us.
@@DanielCordone9 aren’t you fun. From what I’ve read, Liverpool don’t see LW as a priority going into this season and their inquiry was more speculative. He may find he has to be patient, he’s only 23 after all.
@@ilcorvo9559 They'll sign him and utilise him as a striker
Gk is a key position.
A good keeper is a priority now.
Especially since our defence is weaker for a few months
Nufc fan in Bangkok
Thanks for watching, Andy! Interesting you’d go after a GK despite the two new arrivals. Who would you like to see?
@@everythingisblackandwhiteNUFC the new arrivals are not good enough if Pope is out. Look what happened with debravca. He cost us badly
Everybody has a price ,and no one's here forever .most of the big six have had to sell a star to get a better team .
After last season just havin everyone fit is like having 6 new signings. HTLs 🏳🏴
If Wilson stays, bringing a player like that is a good idea. However, the player who comes in is getting games because - let’s call a spade a spade - Wilson will spend half of next season unavailable then leave on a free.
That’s the gamble isn’t it? If you keep Wilson just how many games will he be able to play!
On terms of Longstaff, we seem to have lots of players more comfortable on the left of midfield than right, I'm not convinced that Bruno and tonali will play together well, like lampard & Gerrard or Foden& Bellingham, I would want cover in before we sell Longstaff, if he was playing injured last term, he may kick on this year and his energy could help a tonali or a bruno
Who wrote these financial rules, and who voted to implement them?
Exactly John , who is the CFO ????
I’ll tell you something… none of these in the know journalists knew he was coming .. just as NONE of them knew about Tonali last season or Isak before that ! But the same con men want us to believe they have the inside track on Gordon !
@@stevenphillips4494 exactly they just want to fabricate...what is even worse it has been local press doing it..anything to print something to sell the paper...like click bait
It really stinks that we can’t buy the players that we want because of these awful bloody rules, talking about Alanga when ideally we would want Mbeuno, frustrating doesn’t come close to how I feel. The premier league should be challenged, especially after the interview with Ratcliffe last week. They should be on the back foot because of what Ratcliffe said about the big 6 pushing the league. We all know about it, it’s time to challenge the Status Quo
I think in time bigger change will have to happen. Too many PL clubs unhappy with the rules! Thanks for watching
I think you are confusing Tomori with Thiaw. Milan have said no contact with them for Tomori but Thiaws agent is speaking to a number of clubs
cause u know 😂😂😂
My Longstaff selling fear is, looking ahead, the CL need for homegrown blood. I don't want to see us short there
We've got about 20 British players in the squad
@@DanielCordone9 CL quality & Newcastle trained from day 1? I thought that was the rule (needing a certain number anyway)
@@rogercookcouk No British players are champions league quality
@@rogercookcouk correct, for uefa purposes you need to name 8 home grown players (basically uk born or trained from an early age) this is the same for the PL. the difference is 4 of the 8 should additionally be club trained. So the likes of longstaff and Miley would qualify.
@@ilcorvo9559 Thank you. I thought so 🙂
I thought Newcastle had signed a financial guru from Leicester to sort out there finances ? Id be happy for Trippier and Wilson to go i dont think there heads are in it. Miggy isnt good enough he had his last chance for me the last few games after not being sold in the window. He could have made it a hard choice for the club to sell him but did absolutely nothing simply not enough assists we need a upgrade.
dan ash worth is elite - > tonali
Sorry but the utter twaddle coming out of John's mouth is doing my head in. He clearly has no concept of how PSR works or has suggested any realistic alternatives to what the club have done
Everyone wanted us to get through the window without selling our best players which they have so far achieved
Then he starts crying about not splashing the cash on a GK. Absolutely thick as mince after 5 minutes earlier complaining that the club had to sell Anderson to balance the books.
