Great podcast Andrew and John, we’ve been on an amazing run over the last 8 matches, our performances have been brilliant and hopefully have a great 2nd half of the season. I’m just taking it one game at a time, if we look too far ahead we’ll be left disappointed. It’ll be interesting to see if Isak can play tomorrow, if he can’t I’m not sure what Eddie will do with the left wing and CM position if Gordon plays as the striker. Like you said Andrew with Osula coming off after 70 mins against Bromley he could be used 👍🏻, HWTL ⚫️⚪️

Miley - outstanding. The through ball he played in the build up to his goal was as good as the strike. Took it on the turn and immediately had the vision to see that pass. Then the technique to play it perfectly. Osula - Great strike but up until then he’d not been great. His movement is really poor, particularly when we’re being patient with the ball. Doesn’t run a cross defenders or get in front. Just seems happy to stand marked. Reminds me of mitrovic.

When journalists say Harvey looked "disinterested" it's an allegation a player can't defend. Harvey is backup for Gordon and has good goals/assists. Not his best performance but in my experience it's the wingers who struggle to shine in teams that have been cobbled together. Really impressed with Miley and Osula is improving. Great show guys

All the GK debate definitively proves is that neither one is the long term solution. But for now, Dubravka is by far the better option. Even if Pope is a better shot stopper, which is debatable, we face far fewer shots by being able to retain possession. Pope causes panic and has to put every ball out for a throw.

St James park in 20 years time will not be fit for purpose Grey, cheesy, old, dated, and most of all problems seriously LOW TECH ..not fit for todays digital world and multi stadium use. A New stadium is the only way and extending a Stand is just not the future. Even if its Gosforth Park with fast shuttles on a match day from the city will be brilliant.

Is it possible that should Dubravka go to Saudi, if Newcastle don't have Pope available v Wolves, that Newcastle can bring him back on a loan deal i.e. via a favour with the Saudi club?
