I purchased one 3 months ago and it’s such a fun little car. I get just as much enjoyment from it as my mk4 r32 golf! Sure, it’s not as fast as the golf but it’s just fun!
Had mine for nearly a year and the handling is superb. I grew up in the 90s hothatch era and so this for me is reliving those glory days but in a way more reliable package !
The gearbox still throws me occasionally even after 6 months, and you're right it is a high seat especially compared to my boxster, spot on review guys glad you enjoyed the car
i tbreaks my heart to this day that the turbo version was japan exclusive :/ site note for buyers, always go to a suzuki dealer and ask them to check the firmware, the early versions had problems with the catalytic converter
I have one of these and a MK1 MX5. Owned both for 3 years and still couldn't tell you which one I enjoy more. My Swift sport gets booted around track days🤣
I never thought that I'd start uttering phrases like this: "when a car was just a car and so much better for it". If my old mk1 Octavia vRS had cruise control it would be a better CAR than all the others I've owned during the last 20 years. Manufacturers are missing a trick; I bet there's a huge market for new old-style cars: let's get back to millennium dimensions, strip out all the nonsense and develop great little hybrid engines like I have in my vitara. Smaller, lighter, faster and more economical. Probably better for the planet too... 😁
I think certain manufacturers are starting to catch on, but they may be forced to if more placed start enforcing the Paris-style weight restriction taxes.
Thanks guys NB the Post facelift cars with 136bhp and better interior are even better, with 6 speed manual and Bluetooth, and later ones with Satnav etc.

@@yoyobase4638 no none at all, it’s perfect. If you’re thinking about getting one, do it!
Yes, you cant get enough of it😅. And every now and then you get a p0420 error. But get yourself an obd scanner and youre good @@yoyobase4638
I've had one for nearly 4 years and done over 40k miles in it, a very reliable little car
Does it fit all your fishing tackle in?
Haha , in fact it does ! Bedchair , barrow rods everything! I can't see out the back window but it works 😅

Good advice! Thanks for watching!
Do you have any info about a turbo version? I've never heard of such a thing on the ZC31S

Can't get them for £1.5k though
Great little pocket rocket
You must have big pockets
A lot of fun for very little money
Yeah you can get one of these for roughly what Jasper spent per month in maintaining his Range Rover
