GOD BLESS THIS TUTORIAL! HOW _ _ _ _ _ _ _ LONG I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS!!!
You should start a business selling packs of these! Great ideas and video!
thank you 😍❤
Ffffffakkkk that's a good tutorial - I now need to get UV resin asap😂 (for the fedipaint competition over on mastodon)
Today i completed my first battle ready model ever using this as basing. Thank you for such a great video. I really love this
Wonderful tutorial, thx much.
I'm trying to go big or go home for my very first scaling diorama project capturing a very elaborate location in one of my tabletop settings and need to assemble a roughly 16in high 2ft wide glacial wall, with visible depth and detail over the whole thing as well as a gated cave mouth at its base and everything. Hopefully this guide video will help it not to look too rough...
great process, thanks !
As if your first video wasnt amazing! Thank you!!!
thanks 🙏😊
Just amazing!
Been waiting for another one from you, and I wasn't disappointed! Great job
thank you so much for your support and patience! It won't take another year for the next video I promise :D
@@DarkGoblinMiniaturesahhheemmmmm!?!

Glad you liked it!
This is great!
Amazing! thank your share
Great job, Fabio! Love your vids!
Cool
I am looking for ice ideas to use in my Mr Freeze book nook diorama. Thank you for these ideas, I’m sure I will use and adapt them to achieve a great ice look for the cave.
Might use this as inspiration for my Blood Bowl Norsemen team. I just can't get enough ideas for icy landscapes! Thanks :)
Simple and beautiful, i was curious about blue stuff for quite some time, but now i'll definitely try it! By the way, this composition would be perfect with hollow bases (also from GreenStuffWorld), you can cure the resin in different layers and add little white stone or sand to simulate ice blocks under the slabs, or scratch the resin in different layers, etc.
Would love to see your take on magma bases next!
This channel is so underrated! Thank you for the ice and snow base videos!
thanks for your support ;)
Bravissimo è eccezionale! Complimenti ottimo effetto! 👍👍👍
grazie mille ❤🙏
mmm yes ill definitely be doing a combination of these Ice bases and the other Ice video that brought me here for my slaves to darkness
Liked, subscribed and shared. Very well done. I enjoyed your video and creativity!
Fantastic work! Going to try to scale this to Battletech sizes.
Grazie!
thank you so much! wow nice! looking forward to seeing a picture :)
Hey man love your videos. Hope every thing is doing well.
Hey! Thanks for this tutorial, it's great and you gave me a few ideas for a project i have in mind.
I was wondering, have you ever tried, if it is even possible, mixing UV resin with colours?
This is great! I'm going to try and do this for my Chaos Knight basing, my only worry will be will it look alright spaced out over such large bases.
hi! I think it will be cool! I never tried on larger surfaces, but I was thinking to create a Blood Bowl iced field! :D Try on one and let me know how it turns out. You can use larger slates to cast your ice, or you can add smaller pieces one next to each other :)
Such an excellent tutorial! I am going to try this 100%
What was the reason for painting the first resin element fully? Was it purely to get additional height or was it so that the there a coloured front edge for photography from the front that would be seen through the resin vs only colouring the flat base before applying the ice chunks?
I want to do these ice themed Khorne demons. Sort of a “vengeance is a dish best served cold” kind of thing.
Also I have the greenstuff world resin flaming skulls. I want to use them for ethereal cold fire on the bases
Bro. Your tutorials are golden. Subscribed, but only under the condition you throw out at least 10 more videos ❤ killer creativity and talent my guy! Also can I request some takes on ocean - epoxy - or water effects? Keep up the great work
I'm looking for all sorts of techniques to make a frozen heart Christmas ornament. I'll be sculpting it solid (because there's going to be a key hidden in it) and then clear coating it with different techniques. I was wondering how you think plain ol' table salt would work to add a sparkly frost layer in strategic areas.
I think it may work, I am not sure how long it will last but it is worth trying it. Actually I will give it a try myself :D
Hi I am using your ideas and I am very satisfied. Maybe you could record a video where you create something for Salamanders or Blood Ravens?
This is really obvious now that I think about it, but it's brilliant!
thanks!! ❤ it's the power of uv resin that help us all! :D
could u please do a nurgly base next?
If I add a drop of paint - standard mini acrylic or ink - to the UV resin is there a chance that the paint will colour and/or affect the blue stuff?
Im having an issue with super gluing my uv resin pieces together. Any suggestions?
For ice spikes, is there a way to keep detail all the way around it? For ice spikes to place on the miniature itself?
you may not need it now but you can imprint both sides of your foil shape, once they are cured apply some resin with a brush on the flat part to line up with your other impression so flat side to flat side and hold while you cure again and they will seal to make a full ice spike. you can gently file and buff resin if there is a seam or join line.
Awesome tips thank you. Where did you get the UV Resin from? I am going to use the ice shards for my 9 year old sons Ice dragon base 👍❄️❄️❄️
you can find on amazon uv resin for nails (usually is cheaper and it is really the same of more fancy brand :D )
@@DarkGoblinMiniatures is water texture by vallejo pretty much the same as uv resin?
@@mr.trevito528 I am not sure, I used vallejo water texture but it takes much more time to dry, I prefer uv resin :)

@@DarkGoblinMiniatures that is so weird, when I tried to search for them they didn't come up. thank you!
a pity you gave up with your channel!
So true. I'm just getting into dioramas and miniatures seeing crafts and so few channels I've found get into details like this so many assume experience.
Brilliant! really effective
