I'm a single mom of 4 who works 12 hour days. Cooking home cooked meals is cost effective but not time friendly so meals like this are so helpful. Batch cooking is also amazing. Throwing a meal in the over for 30 mins is super easy and about all the time I have. Love this. Thank you
As a tip to get all the air out of the bags. If you fill your a sink or big bowl with water, lower the bag of food into the water until you get close to the zipper then seal it. The water pressure pushes the water out of the bag, (especially if there is alot of liquid in the bag). It basically vacuum seals it!
The BEST salsa recipe is The Pioneer Woman's restaurant style salsa. I love it and everyone thinks I got it from a Mexican restaurant!! Super easy and delicious

I made the shredded chicken ranch tacos. What a hit in my house. I don't have a slow cooker and just cooked on very low heat oven top. It worked out great.

I'm a new subbie and I'm aware that this video was filmed in January, but I love these types of videos! I'm a sahm of a 6 year old boy with a trucker husband who doesn't get home until sometimes 7 or 8 at night, so I love any kind of slow cooker meal that I can serve myself and my son at around 6 but will still be hot and fresh when hubby gets home. I hate having to serve him reheated food because it just doesn't taste the same as when it's hot out the oven. Also, now that it's summer, I hate having to stand over a hot stove or turn my oven on because it makes my whole house so warm! So slow cooker meals are my go-to. Thanks for the great videos, I've been binging on your freezer meal ones!
I need to start making freezer meals like this. It would make life so much easier. We have 2 meat eater and 2 vegetarians in the house (and several crockpots haha) and having things prepped would make life so much easier!
Crystal Cooke I highly recommend getting one! They save a lot of time and hassle in the kitchen. I love to make chili and soups, mashed potatoes, as well as chicken dishes. Plus, they use less energy than you'd use cooking stuff in your oven!

If you take a coffee filter a rubber band and your vacuum you can make an easy vacuum sealer that will get all that air out before you freeze it works amazing

I have 7 kids and oh my goodness I need to meal prep like this!! We love chicken and cook it a lot :) Thank you so much for sharing this , it's going to make my life so much easier lol
This is so time saving and saves a lot of $$, too. I do NOT have 7 children but have only two. My teenaged son is 6'9" and about 300 pounds, though, so you know....You may want to triple the recipes depending on how old and how large your kids are. When you have all of your ingredients laid out, I promise under 2 hours prep time. No kidding. Also, remember the crock pot is great in the summertime since it emits VERY little heat, & I plug mine in outside. This is my new favorite youtube cooking channel!

The Family Fudge I live about 1 1/2 hours away from Pawhuska and went to the Mercantile before Christmas. Ate at the deli and it was very tasty. It was interesting to see it. I totally did the stalker routine and stopped at the ranch and took a picture under the big white gate LOL.

I saw someone use a blender with the blade removed of course to hold their ziplock bag. The ends could drape over the sides just like those fancy store bought helpers. ;) Just found you today and loving all the videos I've seen from organizing to cooking.

l love ALL the ideas you shared in this video, l just want to say to every one don't think of coconut oil as substitution to olive oil all the time . Olive oil is full of monounsaturated fatty acid which is good for your heart and blood vessels . Whereas, Coconut oil has lots of saturated fatty acid . So if you can use Olive Oil , go for it . thank you Jennifer
A salsa hint: if you accidentally grab the hot version of a jar of salsa, I just add a can of diced tomatoes and some diced bell peppers and adjust the seasoning level. It's a real money and tongue saver, or if one family member likes hot while the rest don't, it saves you from having to buy two jars of salsa. Buen Provecho!

I have tried these and they are ALL a hit. I did do one thing, different, though. When it came to the Hawaiian chicken I ran out of chicken! What to do, right? I substituted boneless, LEAN pork loin chops. OMG, delicious! To save $$ I will buy the entire pork loin for about $17.00, out of that, I am able to get 25, 1 inch pork loin chops. I will try some of the other recipes with oinker, too!

These are great! Sometimes I'll make a few up on Sunday while I listen to an audiobook . I don't have to worry about dinner for the rest of the week.
