The added features seem kind of pointless if I have to have an additional hotspot. I use AA Wireless for wireless Android Auto. Also don't feel the need to defend yourself on You Tube. It is a never ending loop. Run your channel and you feel it should go and followers will find you if they like it. Keep up the good work.
How many usb sockets are in the Elantra N ? Is the front USB the only socket that works with CarPlay? Is there one in the centre console will it work with CarPlay to make it easier to hide the device?
Go with the lite, way better value. Coupon code in the description as well. I don’t believe it actually stores anything, but you can plug in a usb stick with your own media.
@ENtense is this the lite version or "octa-core" ? My buddy uses the Ottocast U2-AIR for wireless car play and it works great, a lot cheaper as well. Just no RUclips, Netflix option.
Hey super serious question. Is there a way your aware to plug accessories in the dash like hdmi via third party Like a computer screen? Laptop, video game system etc. the dash is such high quality wonder if you know any one doing something like this? Thanks
I also have an Elantra N and bought this after your video, but my device stays on even when the car is off with the red blinking light, and my homepage doesn't look like yours (Not too mention the youtube barely works, and mine is a flat black whereas yours is glossy). Should I disconnect it from the car's bluetooth, and you plugged it in the middle usb? Thanks!
I’m curious to see what your homepage looks like. I don’t believe I adjusted any settings but perhaps with seeing yours I could help better. Also my phone isn’t connected to my car via Bluetooth at all actually, maybe that will make a difference, not quite sure. As far as the device staying on, I truly didn’t pay attention to the red light, assuming mine is probably on as well. But I had no issues leaving it plugged into my Elantra or my Sorento. It doesn’t use screen mirroring unfortunately but you can load music and videos into the AI Box. The box also only has Netflix and RUclips preloaded onto it.
Which the n line is wireless. What a bummer. I have a n line myself. Seems there’s nothing for wireless CarPlay like this. I did see something about carbridge. I went down that rabbit hole and got nothing there. Hopefully in the next months/years someone will have something like this for wireless CarPlay.
With Android Boxes you can do hotspot and some you can run on a data sim which is nice but some providers you gotta pay extra. When I used to have Google Fi I would use the free data sim for my other lte devices. Now if you get a small wireless adapter like wirelessaa it will work off your phone and you can load your own apps but if you don't root it you won't be able to get Netflix to work as they patched it and you also get possible audio lag if you're not hardwired so an ai box is nice but yeah you need to hotspot it.
Can you do us a favor? Get a couple other passengers, go drive around in daylight and get there opinion of how well they can see screen, while something is playing?
Have you noticed any performance down grades when the box gets warm/hot during summer time at all? Or noticed it glitching on long drives?

So you have to activate a hotspot on your phone and then connect to it? Or do you need a separate sim all together?

There’s only 2 up front and that’s it. The device tucks in there pretty well though, it’s quite small.
I have 2022 sonata sel plus & I have that same infotainment screen do you I can do this without having wireless car play?

Pretty sure in the phone settings you can just hit mirror phone to get the Netflix n stuff on there. I came across it but didn't try it

I don’t plan on it, but nothing is coated from the factory.
