As a kid who grew up doing all of these things, from playing with hot wheels to learning stick shift, to just simply love being behind the wheel, this commercial is amazing and I’m surprised it comes from Hyundai. I think this car manufacturer only keeps getting better, and I kinda think their cars are starting to out perform their brand name, or perhaps elevating it to a new level.
Ford is certainly not the worst offender. But Hyundai Kia is the only brand left not completely submitting to the EV/crossover movement. Long live KDM you guys are our heroes.

Last time I did autocross, a Hyundai Velocitor N got the best time of all the different cars there. Of course a lot of that is driver skill, but it gave me even more respect for Hyundai. Exciting to see what they are doing!
I've never seen a car commercial actually giving credit to all the engineers involved in developing the car. The credits @7:40 are a very, very cool touch. Well done Hyundai.

Just bought a manual white Elantra N. This is the best car I’ve ever purchased. Period. Hyundai has set the bar for standard daily driving and performance to a new level. It’s a beast.
got myself the dct in blue recently, and i couldn't agree more. More comfortable than my civic, faster and more tech than anything in its price range. Best warranty too!
@@nicholasadams9954 car is running great! No issues mechanically and drives amazing! Had a small issue with my USB data port for car play, but it’s rare. Sometimes has no power in the port but besides that it’s fine. My dealer said it will be fixed if the issue continues.

@@CharlesNam well at the time Hyundai wasn't trying as hard with the Tiburon as they are with the whole N brand. Really all they did with the Tiburon/Tuscani in terms of more performance is slapping in a small stock V6 from the Sonata. Compare that to the RSX TypeS and Celica GTS (both direct rivals of the 03 Tiburon GT) whom had souped up engine variants. After that Hyundai didn't do anything else with the car. They gave it some facelifts but no extra performance and eventually killed it off. I don't blame Hyundai, back in the early 2000s they didn't have the same money, presence, or resources as they do now. I can only imagine how the Tiburon GT would've been if Hyundai put all the same efforts behind it as they are with the N brand.
I'll tell you one thing that would be super cool: if the N brand made performance parts for the Tiburon (strut bars, spoilers, upgraded upper intake manifold (which is a very big weak point for the stock 2.7 V6 in terms of power making, etc) y'know, simple bolt-on parts with OEM quality for the older enthusiasts) And not just that, but also make N Parts for the Genesis Coupes whom also didn't get to experience the "N-treatment" That would be really cool and would show their dedication to where they came from by offering support. Similar to how Honda, Mazda, and Toyota are making legacy parts for the S2000, RX-7, and Mk4 Supra respectively.
@@epicraptorman Even Genesis Coupe stock engine full assemblies are hard to source these days here in Korea as race teams and enthusiasts have used them up and production is minimal. Which suggest that Hyundai offering upgraded legacy parts extremely unlikely. Shame.

Well, the Vesloster N was revolutionary when it comes to bringing a fun manual turbo car with almost 300hp, good quality and decent price...man, this now will shake the market share a lot...and the other big brands will have to protect themselves because this will be a very good ROI car for car enthusiastic people that aren't married to a specific brand or to people that just like a fun ride.

And thinking that playing an engine sound through the speakers of an electric car can be a substitute for the real thing is laughable. It's the physics behind the engine and transmission and how it connects to the driver and how that translates to the sound it makes; Meaning the car can be enjoyed at any speed and even when decelerating. Something that can't be said for an electric car.
Hyundai N is very quickly becoming my favourite car manufacturer, can't wait for my I20N and hyped to see Elantra N on the roads. I wish you to keep combustion engines as long as possible🔥🔥 nobody makes cars sound as good as N division does.

Hyundai is N quickly becoming a great performance house and they are in your face like it or not, I was so impressed by the new 2022 Kia Cerato GT doing a 0-100 sprint in 6.6 seconds with a 1.6 engine. Engineering has come a long way in the Korean staple and their next effort will probably be improving their performance brands sprints by a few more seconds and maybe obtaining like 4.7 seconds with some of these products. I hear some are hitting 0-100 in 4.9 seconds with their latest and lovely Veloster N DCT in favourable conditions I would think, Tells you that Hyundai Kia is quickly matching up with DSG and the likes and the future looks great with the introduction of electrified products. Hyundai Kia and their Genesis flagship are well on their way to doing a Samsung on the Auto industry. I would like to see one or 2 of their N performance division products gain an all wheel drive system in the near future to see what performance improvements it makes.
I love the passion that goes into these cars. The drive other manufactures throw to the side or price way high up market where most people cant afford them.

I've driven and loved performance cars for almost 30 years. My new Elantra N is coming next week, and I've never been so excited to get a vehicle in my life. And like others, I would have NEVER thought 5-10 years ago it would have been a Hyundai.
I happened to come across a manual white one yesterday and bought it the instant it came off the truck. The car is insane. The way it drives is just perfect. Everything about the car is just fantastic. The tech, the customizability, quality of the interior, exhaust note, the feel of the shifter, just perfect. I can go on and on man. They truly put their heart into the car and it shows big time. Congrats on yours and hope you enjoy it.
Way to go Hyundai!!! This is incredible. Man, I am super curious to see if the Genesis would have something equivalent to the N line. Although they have the G70 and it's trims, but I am curious if there would be a beefed up version of their sedans within the Genesis lineup.
I have fond memories of my dad teaching me standard transmission back when I was 14. And those cars that bring back and preserve the manual transmission are highly appreciated.

Well, the Vesloster N was revolutionary when it comes to bringing a fun manual turbo car with almost 300hp, good quality and decent price...man, this now will shake the market share a lot...and the other big brands will have to protect themselves because this will be a very good ROI car for car enthusiastic people that aren't married to a specific brand or to people that just like a fun ride.

And thinking that playing an engine sound through the speakers of an electric car can be a substitute for the real thing is laughable. It's the physics behind the engine and transmission and how it connects to the driver and how that translates to the sound it makes; Meaning the car can be enjoyed at any speed and even when decelerating. Something that can't be said for an electric car.

Hyundai is N quickly becoming a great performance house and they are in your face like it or not, I was so impressed by the new 2022 Kia Cerato GT doing a 0-100 sprint in 6.6 seconds with a 1.6 engine. Engineering has come a long way in the Korean staple and their next effort will probably be improving their performance brands sprints by a few more seconds and maybe obtaining like 4.7 seconds with some of these products. I hear some are hitting 0-100 in 4.9 seconds with their latest and lovely Veloster N DCT in favourable conditions I would think, Tells you that Hyundai Kia is quickly matching up with DSG and the likes and the future looks great with the introduction of electrified products. Hyundai Kia and their Genesis flagship are well on their way to doing a Samsung on the Auto industry. I would like to see one or 2 of their N performance division products gain an all wheel drive system in the near future to see what performance improvements it makes.
I love the passion that goes into these cars. The drive other manufactures throw to the side or price way high up market where most people cant afford them.

I've driven and loved performance cars for almost 30 years. My new Elantra N is coming next week, and I've never been so excited to get a vehicle in my life. And like others, I would have NEVER thought 5-10 years ago it would have been a Hyundai.
I happened to come across a manual white one yesterday and bought it the instant it came off the truck. The car is insane. The way it drives is just perfect. Everything about the car is just fantastic. The tech, the customizability, quality of the interior, exhaust note, the feel of the shifter, just perfect. I can go on and on man. They truly put their heart into the car and it shows big time. Congrats on yours and hope you enjoy it.
