I can’t tell you how much I appreciate these videos. Major props sir.
Just did this on my EN, thanks for the upload!
Awesome idea! I just did these mods. Thanks for this!
Awesome job.. I just did the same to my 2022 Hyundai Tucson; including the rear turn signals and back up lights. Huge difference.
Thanks mate for making this supper easy. Took less then five minutes for interior and licence plate
Great video Man. One of the most helpful so far!
Thank you!
@@ENtense Yeah had no idea of the difference in light bulb sizes. Thanks again! Great information.
Led interior lights were the first thing I did! Best mod for under 20 bucks!
did you buy the same brand lights linked in this video? If not, which ones did you buy? I bought some and the auto-dimming of the rear dome light (when you open/close doors) causes it to buzz so I am going to replace it with another brand
I would definitely replace the backup lights at the same time, as they are quite weak.
Thanks for the detailed video
Thank you so much
Very good video :))
Great video, will do this mod once I get my N. Will use my rubber pry tools as a flat head might scratch things up.
Thanks! I’ll have more videos this week going over turn signal and reverse bulbs, as well as installing mud flaps.
Just replaced my lights on my 23 Elantra. Thank you for this info!!!!
Do you think I can use this for my 23 Elantra hybrid?
@@Edwin-xs3fb I would imagine so. I doubt there are any differences with the interior lights. I’d say go for it.
This video is very helpful for me I will change all my bulbs into leds thanks @entense
Thank you
I needed this bc I didn't know how to remove the dome light cover in my 22 Elantra SE
9:28: "You can definitely force this one in there. It's not the right size but it's not that big of a deal."
This video is now Rated-R...
😂
Awesome video thanks for putting this together!
One tip on the front overhead dome lights (next to blue link buttons)... Do not twist the bulbs in any way taking them out or putting them in or you'll loosen the bulb socket and it may fall to where you can't reach it. You can pull the whole assembly down and find the socket but it's a pain. Ask me how I know 😅
Okay I just ordered all of the lights that you suggested for my 2023 Hyundai Elantra limited hybrid. They all should be in by Friday I will update you. Thanks for the video.
Just completed the interior, trunk and the license plate lights and they all work great. Thank you
Great video. I just performed my light swap using the links you provided. I found that the rear dome light accepted the 28mm way better than the 31mm. The 28mm actually clipped in place where the 31mm stretched out a bit and did not clip.
Thanks for the feedback! Hope this video helped you out 🙏🏻
the same bulb that you use for upfront under the visor ?
Yes it’s the 28mm for rear dome and trunk light. Literally just tried 31mm too big.
Thanks so much!
Sure thing, thanks for watching!
What bulbs do I need for the 2023 Hyundai Elantra n line ? And any options for led headlight bulbs ?
@ENtense Did any of these leds trigger a bulb out warning light on the dash? Thank you.
Would you know if the linked parts in description will fit for my 21 SEL elantra?
It's so freaking hard!
Man, that trunk light housing was an absolute pain in the ass. Thanks for this video, though! We're it not for that piece taking 10 minutes alone, I would have gotten everything done in under ten minutes!
Great video. Why in a 2022 vehicle there are no interior led lights is insane. You would think all vehicles 2020 and up would have them factory installed
Do You know it they go on a 2019 Elantra ? Thank You for the video
28mm fits just fine for the rear light (Elantra N) in case anyone was wondering :)
the 28mm like the one up front under visor?
same story in the Kona Nline 2021
LED headlight, even LED foot light but everything else is retro bulbs)
also i wanna replace reverse light and rear fog light to LED
oooh im so jealous of this RGB ambient light which is not available in Kona;) but i want to fix this))
Hi can you please make a video to remove the map light (whole) as my bulb went inside
Did any error light come on on the screen when you changed the bulbs?
Does this work for the 2024 Elantra N too?
Does these lights fit in the 2021 Elantra hybrid ??
Hey I have a 2021 Elantra what kind of front signal light does this car take .
I did the interior lights on my GT N Line.
Where can I find a list that gives me every part number for the light bulbs and where they go?
What about the 3rd brake light?
this will work on a normal elantra wont it?
I was installing the passenger side and I fully disconnected the light piece and now it’s such a pain to connect any tips ?
What does it mean when the lights are off but it stays on very dim?
Hey man, I am about 2 weeks out from picking up my Elantra N! I was wondering what kind of window rain guards you have installed on your car? Does any 2022 Elantra guard from Amazon work on the N? Thanks!
Excited for you! I promise you won’t be disappointed! And here’s a link to the set I purchased on Amazon. I think they look great, however they’re a bit loud with the wind noise. amzn.to/34nYvqB
@@ENtense Awesome thank you so much!
I replaced my Licence plate light on my N with a similar LED. Then at night, I noticed it was also lighting up the road underneath the license plate and behind the car, significantly so. I looked around at everyone else's license plate lights, and none of them were powerful enough to start reflecting light from off the road. Ended up getting a weaker LED bulb. Also wish I had seen your vid before; it would have saved me a couple marks I made for the License plate light. :(
Oh no! Hopefully it’s nothing too deep and it can be buffed out 🤞🏻
I fear the same issue when I change the license plate lights. What LED's did you buy instead?
@@smileismild3095 Hey, sorry I didn’t.
Hey ENtense, do you know if it's possible to replace the standard headlight bulbs with LED bulbs on the 2022 Elantra SE (basic starting trim)?
I believe I’ve seen others upgrade to LED, I just don’t know the bulb size.
Very possible. Just did it on my SEL trim today
Nice have you changed the lights for the turn signals?
I sure did, I have another video on my channel doing those
Do these lights buzz when the Dome light above the rear seats auto dims after doors are open/closed? I bought a different brand of LED and they buzz very loud, going to replace them but don't want to guess/check 5 brands before I find one that works
No buzzing on my end.
@@ENtense followup question to his comment ^, did the front map lights buzz at all? Im having the same issue but with the front map lights not the rear dome ones (different style LED). Thanks!
Man I don’t know how you got that trunk light case off so easy I’m struggling. I pushed the tab in and it’s still not budging
The one inside the trunk? If so, push in and pull it down at the same time.
Hey what's up man. Do you happen to know what size the low beam bulb is?
For a standard Elantra it’s a 9005/HB3. But I’m pretty sure the LED’s on the N model are different, and cost quite a bit if you get them from a dealer.
@@ENtense yeah I figured they would cost quite a but from the dealer. I was just wondering what the bulb size is for the n model since I can't find that information anywhere and I don't get mine until like next month
hello I have a question is that I wanted to buy the lights for my elantra but some part asks me for the model of the vehicle and the year and then they tell me that those lights do not work for my car. Could this be a system error?
When I purchased them on Amazon, it told me the same thing for most of them. There’s also a chance that their database is just not up to date, would be my guess. But if you do order the ones I have listed in the description, they will work. 👍🏻
@@ENtense ok and thank you very much. Another question I have an elantra Sel the numbering of the lights changes. ???
@@jensencaballero8477 if yours is a ‘21 or a newer it should be the same
@@ENtense Ok and thank you very much, your video really helps a lot, thank you again.
Could you possibly list/link all of the different bulbs I would need and how many of each for me? I know you mentioned it in the video but my brain works better when it’s spelled out for me 😂
Here you go! It’s also in the description if that’s easier for you.
amzn.to/3q4urIr (4 bulbs) front dome lights and license plate bulbs
amzn.to/3tyct1G (1 bulb) 31mm festoon for rear dome light
amzn.to/3MqQC4R (3 bulbs) 28mm festoon for the vanity lights and trunk light
@@ENtense thank you so much I didn’t even think to check the description 😂 my bad
@@Breadpool93 lol no worries glad to help.
I replaced them with the Yorkim listed in the description, and they buzz and only work when the car is off. When the car is running, all interior lights are non-functional. Do you know what would cause this?
This would be the first time I’ve heard of this happening. And I know there’s tons of people who have ordered and installed them. My best guess would be the bulbs are faulty. Amazon can definitely help you get a refund or replacement.
@@ENtense OK, thanks for the input. I'll look into getting replacement bulbs
@@joemorgan1560 Just curious did you ever get this problem solved?
@smileismild I ended up returning and then buying new ones, and they work great. Are u having the same issues?
Will these bulbs work on my 2022 N-Line?
I would assume they’re all the same. Honestly can’t say for sure 100% though.
I did the replacement on my 2022 N-Line and they all fit.
Any chance I could get a link to that cargo net?
It’s actually a factory installed option
@@ENtense ahhhh gotcha, thanks!
does the color of the led look blue? or is it just plain white
Definitely white. Just a very bright white. I don’t personally see any blue hue at all.
@@ENtense sounds great i don’t like those blueish leds they hurt my eyes lol i’ll definitely buy these now
I got the first map light (left side) changed no issue, but on the second one (right), somehow managed to push the actual globe housing INTO (back) the map light housing, and now I can't see the housing.. any ideas on how or what part of the map light housing perimeter to pop out? Start at front side of car, or side or back? Can't find videos anywhere for this.
You’re talking about the one in the headliner right?
@@ENtense correct. The map lights housing in the headliner (quite large, like 20cmx30cm) with the two separate lights (left/right). Ib know how to open the clear plastic coverings to access the globe housing, but since pushing that glibe housing back into the cavity of the main section, now I need to access the actual map light (big one mentioned before) housing.
@@trentmichaels7758 how did you find your light housing? I did the same thing and can’t find my housing. Did you have to take car to shop? I was thinking I would have to take the whole setup out (whole thing with the sunroof controls, bluelink, etc.) to find the light housing (it’s rattling around in there) but I can’t figure out how to take the whole thing down.
Did you guys figure it out because I’m having the same issue I completely took it out and now it’s stuck in the roof but I have it dangling it just won’t come out
@@mil8430 yeah I did. The whole main unit needs to pop out slightly downwards at the front end and slide forward very slowly.
I found that taking a wide flat head screwdriver gently inserting it between the plastic outer and roof liner, then giving it a quarter turn (90degrees), would almost pop out the first part, then you need to do the same with the front side of that main section, and again on the other side. Holding the whole unit carefully so it didn't pop out quickly and dangle.
Once you got that undone, you should be able to see where your globe has gone, and it's simple to put back in.
Wish you luck!
I messed up the passenger side visor light. Was too tight, unplugged it and now can't plug it back 😒
Oh no! That one was definitely tough for me too.
@@ENtense Any ideas on how to get it back in?
@@faisalnatawan if the plug isn’t broken, you’re likely going to need to small hands to put it back on most likely. Or if you’re able to get the wire poking out a bit from the headliner, push up on the headliner to “hold” the wire, and try pushing the light assembly into it.
@@ENtense my hands are certainly not helping lol, will hope to find a solution 😅 Thanks though! Everything else went smooth.
No canbus warning ⚠️
I am so frustrated i cannot change the rear light for life of me
My front dome light assembly is all fucked up have to bring it to the dealer bulb got stuck inside the harness and I tried to pull and push it out and it flew back into the socket can’t find a guide on how to take the entire housing off for this fucking car
Same ong did you figure it out I’m literally crying😭😭
It's weird your interior lights aren't LED. All my interior lights on my 22 VN are LED
Wow, I didn’t know they cheap out on the EN but not the VN! Lol
@@ENtense you have a better turbo though haha
@@Olemrac11 I’ll take that trade 🤣
Cringe screwdriver on plastic.
Is it OK to put in different size(or lumen) of LED?
