I rode for years with zero road rash incidents or accidents. If you ride at night with a dark visor down, well ya, you deserve what you get!! It's ridiculous, but my friend (they were not going like 130+, they were doing about 65 in a 55... and this was a car, not a motorcycle with the helmet on, per @DroneStrike1776's comment that the helmet could obstruct your view), the police car pursued them for like 5 miles -- apparently they somehow really didn't notice the lights behind them for several miles, and then when they did they thought they were looking for safe place to pass and started waving them around! I guess the police officer realized they were just being dumb* and didn't throw the book at them (I mean they got a speeding ticket, but no additional charges or moving violations.) *I'm not calling my friend dumb, they're quite an intelligent person. But honestly, this is pretty dumb.

Ran a stop sign at estimated 70mph, which ended putting his Harley thru the driver side door and in to the cabin. Killing him, the auto driver, and the person in the passenger seat.
