Ken and Gen are both Warriors, so you can use them to make Akashic Magician, bouncing both Sillva and Ceruli to your hand. Assuming you have at least one Purrely spell to act as a discard outlet, this lets you extend your play and hand-loop the opponent again.
It's crazy, cause I loved your 5.0 list. This one was trying to cook too much. As expected from Indy, the pure decks performed a lot better than any DW Purrely deck did. Looking forward to your next Purrely deck list cause this one was not it.
You could side that yes but usually the games are very quick as your opp will usually scoop once they lose multiple cards/try to retained information on the deck they’re playing
I imagine just more ways to clear the guys u give them. If you give them ken u can suck it with anima and make azalea to clear a ceruli or gen u gave them and save ur s:p for i:P. Alternatively u could play 2 s:p maybe.
You go azalea with Ken and gen destroy something if you have multiple spells on grace to keep azalea then link it away and another monster for SP little knight.
Doing some testing with this gross combo, IMO adding ROTA and/or Dark Corridor make starting the full combo more consistent, Akashic and Geonator make handlooping 5 almost guaranteed, and a Saryuja is super easy to get out in addition to a Noir, or to get the extra spells to get to the Noir.

@@jakequinsee yeah going first isnt my concern. I think if youre going second most of the time you do not have the trap and you have to go through almost all of your purrely monsters
You should play geonater transverser in the extra deck since it makes swapping gen and Ken super easy, guaranteeing the opponent is forced to discard a card

Played this at locals today. I loved gen and Ken but I kept bricking on the dark world cards when I didn’t have gen Ken. I’d probably cut the dark world cards for more hand traps. Probably cut muckracker for the new typhon too

also put it this way, this list is only really "broken" or good going first and that's if they have no interruptions like imperm/droll/ash. If people are expecting a lot of gen/ken, there's going to be droll mained this format. And for going second it's underwhelming, so if you lose dice roll, gl winning game 2 and 3 in which they'll most likely side in droll.
You want them to ash the Ken or gen. They have to imperm or else they can’t whilst controlling a Ken or gen and if we get drolled you can still remove cards from their hand. Droll doesn’t trigger from gen discard effect also.
