Beautiful home, but with three or four seatings areas downstairs, I would have rearranged some of that extra space for a much larger laundry area and drop zone/mudroom coming in from the garage. Also, possibly used some of the owner’s suite for an upstairs laundry, since 90% of laundry seems like it would be up there. I’m not sure with such a high end home, why they didn’t make the effort to build in the medicine cabinets…would have looked so much more finished.
At first glance, the beauty and opulence is obvious! However, this hm makes very little sense in the actual design of it. I would be very grateful if someone gave it to me, BUT I'd never buy it! Thx Timothy for all your hard wk in bringing these vids! Hugs to you and family!

Attic access.. not in the bedrooms.. not in the hallway.. but in the laundry room or utillity room. In the bedrooms is my my biggest peeves
I absolutely love that it's not open concept but still flows smoothly. I am NOT a fan of open concept.
This is a beautiful home. I love the owner's suite and the kitchen. I was expecting to see a butler's pantry though...
This home has so many great features and lavish spaces but the laundry room was woefully undersized. I can see adding one upstairs.
dining room already has the kiddies table! lots of room upstairs to put another laundry room. maybe just me, but i found the first floor a little awkward/choppy w all the desk nooks, eating places and sitting places. did not feel like they made the most of the space they have, exterior is gorgeous. master bedroom is practically decadent - in a good way
Missed the poll…definitely hate barn doors. They don’t help with sound or privacy and frankly, from an interior design perspective, went out style about 10 years ago. This house is a bit odd; too many sitting areas on the main level and some choppy 80s style half walls and columns. The decor style is all over the place. The owner suite layout is fantastic, if you can get past the unfortunate décor choices.
I'd want a better mudroom/laundry situation but it would be easy to add to with the garage right there. That pantry is right-sized!
This is a very Maryland looking house. Especially how the decorators went over the top and over staged it 😂

Wow...talk about coincidence!! I just discovered Caruso's website just yesterday. My husband and I came across this particular floorplan but the photos did not do it justice. So I mentioned to my husband we should maybe go take a tour of it. Well no need now, your Awesome video just saved us some gas. GREAT video and a Wonderful home. This is a beautiful home, however using my imagination, I would have a primary down bedroom and eliminate some of those sitting areas and the basement would have two bedrooms, that’s just my taste. Again I do like most of the decor without all those tables.

Lol, I live in this neighborhood. Past by this model home everyday. The area is Bowie Md and community is called Fairview Manor. Bought my home back in 2015. Great neighborhood.

You've toured other home's that were smaller but still big that I liked the Homes feel and layout much better. I didn't see a straight shot hallway from the kitchen to the front formal dining room so not at all practical as a dining room.

I would use at least one of the rooms downstairs as a "drunk tank." You got some friends over playing games, having some drinks (may too many drinks... we all have that one friend lol), if they can't drive home, they got a warm bed to sleep it off.
I really absolutely love this home! Again, like the last home you've shown, I would probably have an apartment in the basement. I absolutely love the master bedroom, with the ensuite bathroom! I would probably turn the gym there into a nursery of sorts. And, all the space on the main level, I just don't know, but I could probably figure that out.

This is the best so far. I. Like its not the traditional open plan living like all. The other homes. I wish we had things like this in the UK
It was like the builder ran out of ideas and just said let’s make this another seating area. This home has my pet peeve...floor vents, can’t stand them. I like the upstairs way better than the downstairs main living area. Interesting, I haven’t seen a medicine cabinet in a home in 20 years. I’d have to put out an Amber alert because I could definitely lose a kid or two in there.

Timothy these million plus homes just have the craziest floor plans that make no sense to me but that's just my opinion. My chief complaint is usually about the water heater placement, as you know. 😂 But I do believe that now the comments are well, unusual. Like the floor plans. 🤦😂 Thanks for another tour.

Okay, for that kind of money, I would think they would have hired an interior designer. If they did, that’s a problem. Too many mass produced decorative items and furniture. It would make me wonder about the quality of the build. Barn doors might be “popular” but that doesn’t mean they’re design worthy. Also, too many builder grade items for a model home. Loved the tour though!!
Now that is a master suite, all that's missing is a wet bar so I can make my coffee. Too bad they don't build in TX.
I will never understand placing the laundry off the kitchen when the bedrooms are upstairs. That's like putting the dishwasher in the master bath.

The only thing I would change is the laundry room should be upstairs. Don't want to carry laundry up and downs the stairs.

Nice. I always try to see how these homes I watch would really work in my life and it's usually too much house for me. Hopefully you could tour homes with awesome amenities but set up for empty nesters not all of us have lots of kids or even wives/ husband's. I feel like builders simply count us out. We want great homes/townhomes for our grandkids/adult kids to have space for visits or weekend stays but still spacious for our single ,divorcee,widower life as well. However there's plenty I love about this home.

The home is beautiful, nicely laid out,great features…but… for such an impressive home, the yard is minuscule! Why bother getting such a big home when it sits so close to your neighbors and you have no room for a pool or even to throw a ball around?? 🤷♀️
Love the this type of content, but this home looked like it had 30 designs all Lego pieced together, way to many seating areas, the two staircases seemed unnecessary, the laundry room was small, the two random "desks" areas, in the hall way and In the kitchen was odd, the gym being in the very back of the mastersuit seemed selfish, anyone else in the home who would want to workout would need to pass thru a whole apartment just to get to it. The attic access irked me lol. A little to unorganized for my liking.

Bowie is a great place to live and near me! That home is simply beautiful and I grew up with homes like this ,but I actually prefer the open concept homes better now. High ceilings is a must as well. I don’t like low ceilings through out most of the house.
Hey Tim! Thank you for the tour. Wow, I love the Sunroom and the Master. When you showed us the lower kitchen cabinet w/ the slider, were there shelves next to the floor, instead of sliders? I cannot abide by that, as that is the hardest area to reach into a deep cabinet..... I like the floors, too, as they are very nice.
I'd take this house in Florida please.....holy crap I love it.
Quality of the materials in the kitchen doesn't look like a million dollar house. Never put appliances directly next to each other either. A+ though for not putting the bedroom closets in the bathrooms.
