I honestly want to take the time to appreciate you for this. I was about to pay 2400 for a basic course dispatching because my husband started his own business, and to minimize the cost I told him I’d learn to dispatch on top of being a nurse! As a new dispatcher how do you decide which lane you are best at? Or what tpe should I start with
It takes practice, and also, it depends on where your carrierwants to go
is it bad getting loads in general out of PA or just that time cuz of weather? I was wondering bc I am located in PA, but I see a lot of videos where drivers are mostly south/midwest...are there bad areas? do you have a video on that?
So it Fluctuates, you would have to kind of watch the load boards. I know I wouldn’t say it’s bag and clothes out of Pennsylvania, because it’s good money in that area. But some “bad areas” due to pure freight or cheap rates are California, Montana, Idaho for example.
