    Hello, I am in a process of booking this resort. Did you stayed in the Horizont overwater bungalow or just Luxury. Most of them have just one longe chair on the balcony, I see on your video you have two, need to figure out which one to book. Any advice would be much appreciated.

      Here's a link to what we booked:
      www.booking.com/hotel/pf/sofitel-moorea-beach-resort.en.html?aid=1799625&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2
      We booked it for the Horizon, but when we arrived they upgraded our bungalow to a luxury bungalow, due to open availability. We can't promise that will happen for you, but we were there during COVID. Honestly they are pretty similar and I'm sure you can get an extra long chair if you request it.

      Thank you so much for the advice! I just booked Luxury Bungalow. I have been in French Polynesia 3 times usually for 11 days max. Now we are doing 3 days in Moorea and 2 weeks Paul Gauguin for the 4th time to Marqueses Islands. If you need tips, just let me know.

    Hello neighbours. Are you still at Moorea?
    We are here but staying at an Airbnb. But every second day we go to the beach you shown at your video for snorkeling 🐟

    Was wondering what time of the year you went to Moorea. How often did it rain during your stay?

    • @MikeandLauraTravel
      @MikeandLauraTravel  Год назад

      We went during the months of October and November. I'm pretty sure it rained almost daily, but not for very long. There were only a few days where it rained back to back days, but you can make the best of the days when it didn't rain all day. Thanks for asking Pamela 🤙

    Is it necessary to tip? Also are there any hidden fees with the hotel?

    • @MikeandLauraTravel
      @MikeandLauraTravel  3 года назад +1

      It's not necessary to tip but because it was such a fancy place, we felt inclined.
      No hidden fees. It was really straight forward!

    Do they have wifi in the rooms?

    • @MikeandLauraTravel
      @MikeandLauraTravel  3 года назад

      Probably some of the best WiFi on the island! No Joke... The internet every where has a very-very slow upload speed but the download speeds are just fine.
      Thanks for asking!

    How much was the pizza and other dish? $50 each? 😂 Serious question though as we are trying to budget. Burger price too? 😁

    • @MikeandLauraTravel
      @MikeandLauraTravel  3 года назад +1

      I believe the pizza was about $26-28 and the raw beef dish was $18-$22 as well. Drinks are a minimum of $12 (even virgin) and only move up from there 🤙 I would budget $75-$100 per meal (as a couple) honestly and then whatever you save is awesome 😎 hope this helps!

      I was there in June. It was incredible, very expensive, but tahiti cost even more. Oh yeah and that 8.5 hour flight from San Francisco sucked
