Hi Ryan, thanks for your note. There are 118 islands and five main island groups in French Polynesia stretching over the vast expanse of the South Pacific. Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora, in the Society islands group, are the most popular; in part because of their ease of travel. Another personal favorite of mine is Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands group, which, among other things, featuring a 1,000 foot waterfall (think three football fields including the end zones). It is a world apart. Thanks for tuning into my travel channel.

Hi Adam, I think I was in room 120, or close to it. Absolutely fantastic place. It's very close to the marine pier where most folks arrive by high speed ferry. Moorea is great!

Ia Orana (pronounced yo-rah-nah) - Tahitian greeting. When you arrive at Papeete (PPT) and proceed through Immigration, you will be given a self administered COVID test. Most hotels also serve as a test drop off location. If there's a problem with your test, they will contact you. If you're staying at a super budget hotel or private residence, ask for a list of test drop off sites in the city or area you are staying.
