I have a question for you. My cousin and I both straight males would like to travel together because neither of us would like to travel alone. However, we are not interested in romantic getaways or family fun. We would consider traveling as part of a group. We are both retired, so we aren't interested in long hikes or mountain climbing. We love sight seeing and good food. We are still in the planning stage, so we are not sure where we want to go. Everything we've seen advertised so far has either been for families or honeymooners or gays. I have nothing against any of these groups, but we don't fit into any of them. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.

Hello, the first room that you showed my husband and I stayed in it, its suite 2606. We would go across to the restaurant at the beach for breakfast and lunch. We loved that restaurant because it was buffet, good food and wonderful view. We truly enjoyed the resort and would love to go back. Next time we want to try a swim up.

I see that you haven’t posted in about two years. I just saw one of your Alaska videos and it was the best I’ve ever seen. Are you still creating content? We are interested in scheduling a trip late June or early to mid July and considering Alaska. But we’re open to other trips. I know it’s short notice.

This resort scams families with teenagers. Don't be fooled by the website. The website calculates ages & prices accurately, then charge you again.

Hi, Larry! Linda from Sandy, UT. My husband and I are cruising to Alaska on Celebrity Solstice this July 28th. It's my second Alaska Cruise and my husband's third. We've done the helicopter tour to land ON the glacier back in 2000 which was amazing! We have the decided advantage of NOT flying up from Salt Lake City since we will be driving up two weeks before to spend a visit with my children, grandchildren and siblings that all live in the lower mainland and interior of British Columbia, so we even have a place to leave our vehicle while we are on the cruise. Just think; no weight restrictions on our luggage!!! After we disembark the cruise and pick up our vehicle, we are taking an 1.5 hour ferry ride from Tsawassen near Vancouver to Swartz Bay near Victoria and taking an Airbnb in Victoria for four days. Having grown up in B.C. I have bee to Vancouver Island several times and Butchart Gardens about four times, but my husband has never been there. High Tea at the Empress Hotel is a delightful experience, as well! Finally, Cathedral Grove up towards Nanaimo is an amazing place to visit. It's old growth Douglas Fir, Cedar and other trees that are enormous and super tall BUT it's a ZOO in the Summertime. It's best visited AFTER tourist season is over! There's not enough parking; and crossing the two lanes with inattentive drivers in bumper to bumper traffic is taking one's life in one's hands! At any rate, I can't wait for our cruise and side trip!

SOS We are stack in Guatemala two days already and not information from American Airlines, they changed departure 3 times and canceled then today changed again 3 times the departure and still in the airport . Miami airport says that the airline is the one has issues with their service. My four grandchildren and children loosing work and schools . Anyone give me an advise

Be advised: They charge $29.49 a day for the resort fee now. Parking is an additional $25 a day. Ouch.

El Dorado Seaside Suites resort is not what is use to be. Maintenance is not being kept up, the food quality has also gone bad. This resort is the biggest disappointment ever. The founder of the Resort chain turned control over to his daughter and her husband has been running the resorts. Furthermore, the son-in law has been cutting standard amenities, activities, shows and basically going cheap and yet wanting to charge a premium price for what use to be consider a 5 star resort that's now at best 3 stars. The place is very depressing and I would never recommend anyone to stay at this resort. And if you would ask me if I would return to this place, my answer straight up is a diffidently NO. Better to use you money at another resort. Seaside Suites is poorly managed!

I BOUGHT A TICKET FROM ACE TRAVEL AGENCY IN 09/25/2023. 4 DAYS AFTER, I did not receive any confirmation number. Than I call the customer service to know the cause. He told me. The price was not set up yet when he sold me the ticket, and now the ticket is more expensive. He wanted me to pay $150 more just to privide the confirmation. We both had disagreed to to each other. After all, I cancelled the ticket, and I received an email from them that said. The ticket is canceled . A credit of 100% full amount will return to my bank account, and no fees will be charged. Since November to now, they do not want to return my money. What can I do? Please give me your idea.

I WENT THERE AND CAME BACK TWO DAYS AGO FOR MY DAUGHTERS DESTINATION WEDDING …… DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM OF A RESORT FOR THEY PROMISE U THE WORLD BUT WHEN U GET THERE , THEY LITERALLY STIFF YOU , BELIEVE ME YOU WILL REGRET IT …….. STAY AWAY AND GO ELSEWHERE……. RUN RUN RUN AND SAVE UR MONEY!!!!

My husband and I just returned from this cruise last week. We did the pre and post trips. It was fantastic. Our cruise manager, Tung Do was unbelievable. He knew what we needed before we did. #AMAWaterways is wonderful.

What are your favorite excursions in Alaska?

I have stayed here once several years ago. It is as described. A good place to stay. I managed a small family hotel on the other side of town, call the Kona Tiki Hotel, also a good place to stay. Just 12 or so rooms, you can check it out on line and on youtube. The Tiki has full kitchenette rooms also. We referred many people to the Royal Kona, as we had a small hotel.

Please address Sitka and Icy Straight stops… I hear Skagway is not happening for excursions right now because of a mudslide… I am doing the Seattle Round in Sept 2024… we stop in Juneau, Ketchikan, Icy, Strait, Sitka, and a very short stop in Victoria BC from 8 PM to 12 PM
