Hi Clinton, you're absolutely spot on with travel insurance. I hate paying for it, but wouldn't think of traveling without it. One unfortunate incident can bankrupt you. Thanks for tuning into my "Getaway Guru" travel channel.
Larry, we have booked a cruise from Quebec City to Boston 7 days starting October 7, 2022 on the Norwegian Pearl. This is our first cruise in that part of the world. Do you have must see day trips to recommend?
Hi Jay, You mentioned you are sailing on the Norwegian Pearl. I had the privilege of sailing on the inaugural voyage of the Pearl. Great ship! Each port holds areas and sites of interest. As I don't know your particular interests, I will give a general overview to each port. - Quebec City: French speaking city with lots of walks and alley ways, cafes, and boutiques - Charlottetown: capital of Prince Edward Island. Take a walk down Victoria Row with shops, restaurants, and places of interest and the Confederation Centre of the Arts, & St. Dunstan's Basilica - Sydney, Nova Scotia: Walk through downtown, day hike on the Cabot Trail and a visit to Baddeck - Halifax: waterfront boardwalk, public gardens, the Citadel, a day trip to Peggy's Cove, * Maritime Museum of the Atlantic - Portland, Maine: Portland Head Light lighthouse, Old Port, fresh seafood - Bar Harbor: Acadia National Park, sail around Frenchman's Bay. Bar Island, Bar Harbor town pier, & the Village Green - Boston: no limit of things to see and do! And greetings from Jerusalem, where I am at the moment. Thank you for tuning into my "Getaway Guru" travel channel and taking time to drop me a note.
@@GetawayGuru Thank you, Larry. Linda Jensen has been our agent in booking 4 cruises. Due to Covid, we have only been able to go on one to Alaska. We are scheduled to do a 14 day Alaska cruise-tour beginning Memorial Day. She also has helped us book a Panama Canal cruise a year from now. Hopefully, we will be able to go so that she can get her commission check! When you get back to SLC, give her a big hug for us.
And always, always get Travel Insurance.
