What makes Hader better than most actors is he can take shit and dish it too. Most are too worried about their self image and play jokingly to a point until they act tired... Hader just keeps bringing it which is a testament to how genuine of a guy he is.
He is a comedian, he's comfortable in those kinds of situations.

Hader is wicked quick and super talented. His impressions are gold standard,he is in a class with people like Eddie Murphy as far as characters (in number, but Eddie has some that are super memorable and CLASSIC AND STAND UP still to this day!)

He’s always the “responsible” one. They ramble plenty on the podcast, but Desus generally controls the flow of it more than Mero does. Same goes for most interviews, it’s just how they are
