Oh, so you remember to dain the fuel tank when you have to lift it out. But conveniently forget when i have to lift it out. Re: one yellow Scoupe haha. Bloody good walk-through mate.
That'll be helpful for a lot of people, kewl as, hate working on fuel tanks/filters like that, big pain in the backside. Sometimes I'd cut open the section above the tank and re-plate it when all done, so much easier. EFI sucks 😂
hi mate..i hv a opel calais 1997 with a 2.6l v6 dualram(c26ne)..just wanna ask u about the fuel rail inlet and outlet return to tank lines..which is which?..cheers mate

Those quick connect fuel lines can be an absolute pain in the arse. My Disco is full of them and often in places where you can't get a decent grip to separate them.
I feel like car on jack stands and removing heavy items from either side is dangerous as weight could shift and car come off the stands.. Ramps for this I reckon
I’ve just done my fuel pump and my fuel sender is saying I have a full tank, dose the fuel sender have to sit in a circle inside of the tank is that why it’s playing up?

As least the newer cars have plastic tanks, had to do a fuel pump on a VN v6 that sat for 9 years. Not too sure what science experiment was growing in the tank. 😱😱🤮🤮
Typical Holden BS when you have to pull the whole tank out to get to the fuel pump. Other cars have an external fuel pump like my Mercedes or you lift the rear seat & go through the floor. BTW, instead of stuffing around trying to get the fuel lines off, there is a special white plastic remover that simply pushes the fuel lines off the connector on the pump!

The pick up eg bottom off the assembly sits in that
