Other than that, these are great on and off the court. They are light and most definitely comfortable. Definitely better than the Huarache 2k4 that I bought at the same time. Since the detail is peeling away, I am now looking towards the new Zoom Soldier XI. I have tried them on, they look amazing.

Durability of the shoes, especially the out sole is extremely important because I will play most games outdoors. Please advice, thx!
Nope, I'm guessing the laces press the tongue down pretty well so I didn't even notice I had a rip until recently. Try to get the wade 2 ev's though if you look at 3:38 I bet they put the extra strap there to prevent rips.

NightWing Himself even said that the SpeedWraps provide minimal ankle support, and are more for peace of mind (which is what D.Rose uses it for). I have 2 different colorways for the 2.5's, and my ankles have never felt more snug and full of support. The geofit conforms to the shape of your ankle and snugs it in there tight. Even when I land wrong or step on someone's foot, my ankles aren't going anywhere.

The cushioning is awesome, but I have to say, the upper is too rigid and your foot hurts after 15 minutes of play. I wear these and kobe 6s, and these feel alot heavier than the kobe 6s. Awesome traction on hardwood floor (even with dust), but mediocre traction on a "gym" floor. Cushioning is fantastic, not really springy like zoom though. The more you wear it, the cushioning feels awesome. If you get pain b/c of the upper, go up half a size and wear double socks
I remember you saying your top shoes were the fly wades 2. But I seen d Wade switch to the 14's after gettting injured in the fly wades and then he went to the ev. Explain what happened to make him never return to the original fw?
2012 Hyperdunks. I just got mine today and played in them too. Amazing playability and fit. Probably the best shoes in the market right now. The wade's are heavy, and don't have much ankle support either.
I'd ask u smth: as a guard, dont u feel more comfortable in a low cut shoe? I just started wearing my 2011 hyperfuses not laced up to the top letting 2 holes and it feels really better, i can even jump higher by an inch or two and run a bit faster. Do you think its gonna be the same way with other low top shoes or just the hyperfuses have been preventing me to play with my full potential when they are laced to the top?
