@2NDblunt - Not sure about the flat feet question, dont want to give wrong advice. The zm and max air is the feel, look and cushion effect. Zm air is thin and responsive. Max air is thick and full of air which absorbs more impact.
@MrPhotoshop997 - Thanks man! I loved the Soldier 3s for outdoor. The Hyperfuse is meant for outdoor hoops so those should be ok but I havent tried them outside before. The Jordan 2010s were a good one outdoors. Anything with a solid rubber outsole and herringbone traction will be suitable for outdoor use. After you find something with those two attributes then you will look for your personal needs like fit, cushion and whatnot. Hope that helps!
@Jayrow21 - On this pair its just a plactic shank plate. Its supposed to add support to the arch of your foot so it doesnt over flex. Carbon fiber does the same thing but its a little bit lighter. Ive used shoes without a shank and havent noticed anything too much but some ppl prefer something to be there.
Wow! Great review once again! Full of info, and well thought out... I've been checking out the Wade's since they dropped, and have been reluctant to scoop them up. After seeing your vid I'm not so sure. The Nike ID feature might be the way to go. Keep up the good work Bro!!
@SpiffySparrow - They will work well outdoor but they wont last too long. I think NikeiD has an outdoor option for the outsole which is made of more durrable rubber.
@LiqCharles - These wont break, but I only wear my indoor shoes on the court and never off. If you use them for casual and on court you will wear down the traction faster and you will collect a lot of dust and debri which will end up making the traction worse. If possible I would pick a shoe to buy for indoor use only until its time to buy a new indoor hoop shoe.
@iBrA1MAN - Well ankle support is a false attribute on any shoe. Keeping th efoot locked down will help prevent an injury to the ankle. If the ankle is weak a brace should be used to help support it but shoes dont fill that possition. As for a good outdoor shoe, the Jordan 2010, Hyperfuse and Hyperfuse 2011 are all good ones to choose. I like to stick with something that has solid rubber outsoles and herringbone traction.
@Chiliplease - I personally dont think the weight will make a huge factor in jumping ability. Others may have their own opinion. APL's shoes weigh more than the Kobes and Fly Wades yet they advertise that those shoes will increase your vertical leap. Weight plays a small factor in being able to comfortably play for longer periods of time but not jumping.
@afilagroupleader - Depends on your style of play and what you look for/need in a shoe. Cushion, breathability, traction and so on. Each shoe has its strengths and weaknesses so you need to first figure out what the strengths are that you require then youll be able to start taking shoes off the list and narrow it down.
@BboyLHip - Id say you would need something that will maintain its shap in order to keep your foot secure upon landings from rebounding. If thats the case Id go with a Fuse based shoe like the Hyperfuse or Wade 2.
@TheHornyMushroom - Im a 1/2 and I prefer the Fly Wade personally. I do wish they were full zoom air but Im hoping the Q Flight will be good for that area.
@WheresmyCucumber - Fly Wade or Fly 23 would be good options. I also enjoy the Kobe 6. My fav shoe right now is the Jordan Q Flight, being a SF you may want something with a bit more cushion and higher cut so the Jordan A Flight will provide that for you while still being a fairly light weight shoe.
@TheRedBull223 - Ive heard the clear soles are better for outdoor use but I have not found that to be true as Ive had clear and solid rubber soles work just fine. The traction will get worn down pretty quickly outside but you can use them for outdoor hoops.
@TheMiamiHeatFan361 - Thats a hard one... I really like wearing the Jordan 13s... the 1s, 3s, 5s, 12s... there are a whole bunch that I enjoy. Pretty much everything from Chucks to Jordans I enjoy wearing.
@omysheetofpaper - I was injured when the adiZero Rose hit retail so I waited to grab them and they ended up selling out. The 1.5s are still avail so Im waiting for the price to go down a bit. Under Armour still arent at any stores here and I dont know how they run since Ive never had a pair of UA shoes so Id prefer to try on in store so I get the fit right. Be patient and I'll get to everyones wishlists eventually.
@afilagroupleader - Still depends on your style of play and what you look for/need in a shoe. Cushion, breathability, traction and so on. Each shoe has its strengths and weaknesses so you need to first figure out what the strengths are that you require then youll be able to start taking shoes off the list and narrow it down.
@ToaIgnika1000 - It depends. I have mostly sz 9 shoes. These are a sz 9 as well and they fit just fine for me. This is why its important to try on shoes whenever possible... if you own multiple jordan 7s and you have them in a certain sz that fits fine then you know already to buy that sz online but if you have not owned a certain pair before then its best to try on to make sure.
can you please please do a review on the nike lunar hypergame and i love your vids. your the only guy on youtube that speaks clearly and has great quality vids!
@joeyj607 - I love them both. They are very similar to eachother. Main diff is if you prefer lower cut and zm air then go with the kobe. If you like higher cut and enjoy zm forefoot and air max heel, the Fly Wade is a great option.
@AaronSneakerAddict - You cant really. Kobes fit better all around but the Fly Wade are very comfortable... Its hard to compare them since theyre both great shoes... I did finally replace my Kobe 6s with these though so that is a good indicator that these are a good shoe.
@airjordan23III - You could but I dont know how long the traction would last outdoors... like the kobe 6s, the traction pattern will get worn down rather quickly.
i bought two pairs of these a red one and blue one at athletes foot in chicago for $150 buy one get one free. theyre awesome. best shoes i buy this year. thnx for the review dude u convinced me to buy em
@wwebster15 - I dont wear orthotics so I wouldnt be the best person to answer that. I would assume that it may take away the feeling the cushion gives you while its directly under foot but itll still do its job absorbing impact even if orthotics are used.
I've had the fly wades almost for a year now. The same ones above they are showing there age some now but there still perfect. You can see some creaces quite early in there age, but I think it looks nice :)
@232425shootingguards - Thats a really tough choice... they are almost equals. Kobes have zm air in the heel which I prefer ... but the Wades feel great too. Its a toss up, theyre both the same price as well so youd be good with either of the two.
@thejjb14 - Fly Wade and Fly 23 are the same shoes, just diff price. Q Flights are coming and should be here in a week so I dont know about those yet. Im currently playing in the Hyperdunk 2011s now and think they are very nice, much better than the HD2010. Im curious about the Ghost so I will try to grab those too.
@aznman240 - Loosen up your laces right above the midfoot area, you are prob pintching your nerve... I do it too and have to readjust laces often since I like to tie my shoes as tight as possible.
@chopstikzx - Awesome, I should be done testing them later this week. Need to start playing in the Crazy Lights too so I hope I can get them both done asap.
@WheresmyCucumber - Either of the three are good. They all have pretty good traction. Fit is very nice as well. The LeBron and Hyperfuse are more durable while the Fuse only offers forefoot cushion, but if thats all you need then it isnt a bad thing.
@swingin276 - I personally think the Wades dont look nice casually but are great performers. The 2011 W Flight look alright, prefer the regular 2011s looks wise.
@digimonki - I wouldnt say they are the best bc I havent worn every shoe out right now. They are one of the better performers IMO and out of the shoes I have worn so far, these and the kobe 6s are tied for #1.
@aznballer102 - Most of the shoes out right now are made of the same materials. Only shoe that has been better in the durable dept is the kd3 and the lebron 8 v1/PS.
@gilllie666 - Yes they are sz 9. I have a crap load of comics... you name it and I prob have it, batman, nightwing, robin, spider-man, x-men, superman, TMNT... the list goes on lol.
@airjordan23III - I dont know what the hypersonic is but if youre looking for a good outdoor shoe the only tips I have are to try and get something with solid rubber outsoles that feature herringbone traction. Comfort and fit are all up to your personal prefferences.
@onemogain23 - Honestly I wouldnt know right now. They have herringbone traction which is a good sign. Not sure how supportive theyd be compared to a Kobe as far as lows are concerned though.
@SystemSyko - Im glad the 2011s are what they are but peformance wise these are beast! Get them while you can bc these things have sold out or arent avail in my area.
@ShaJos586 - I wouldnt say its a huge difference but I would rather have the outrigger thats featured on the wades vs the 2011s thats for sure... esp if you land funny which happens sometimes.
I wore some jordans like these years ago that had the same exact outsole but cannot find what they were called. Its really bothering me ive researched extensively but still cant find anything. These are the closest to what i had those years ago. They had a blue translucent sole that had that exact flex groove and web pattern. They were under 100 if i remember correctly. can anyone let me know if they know what im talking about?
@imandark0 - I have not tested this as of now. I did use the Jordan XVI.5 indoors, and they were horrible with traction, and I used them outdoors where they were a lot better. However I wouldnt say 100% this is true since I have not tried it with diff shoes.
Hey man I'm 14 and a Small Forward who loves to shoot mid-range and drive. What shoes should I get? I was thinking about these Fly Wades, but im not sure yet.
@onemogain23 - I prefer them over the 2011 due to the traction and the fit esp in the forefoot area. Id prefer them to have zoom air in the heel and forefoot but the air max and zm air combo works just fine. I only use my shoes indoors for the most part so outdoor use is something I cant speak on at this time. Ive heard clear soles are better used outdoor but I havent found them to be any better than solid rubber soles.
@basketballphile - Thanks bro! Ive been slacking on vids myself... been super busy. If you are talking about Curry's surgery then I heard it was good and healing now. If its about him having his own sneakers then no lol.
@dp122492 - I love the XIV but these are better. Lighter, more flexible, I do prefer the zoom air in the heel where these have air max. The traction was better as well esp over time. The older models are great but nothing beats newer tech and materials usually... not always but usually.
@hiiplayhalo3 - They are the same shoe as the Wades just a little cheaper. Ive checked them out in store and they are very nice IMO. I like the design better than the Wade as well, the solid upper looks better than the Wades with all the diff panels of material.
@NewStyleCrookz - Could be both. Mine are starting to separate above the outrigger, the midsole and upper are separating... They are really great shoes but lack durability
@jchrist4life - The LeBron 8 V2 are great. Def one of my favs this yr. Id go with something like the LeBron or even something a little lighter and lower for court feel. The Kobe 6, Q Flight or Under Armour shoes are great options.
@Mendezllk - Its a really tough choice bc I love them both. These have replaced my Kobe VIs as my backup shoe but I think I would have to give it to the Kobe VI bc I love low cut sneakers.
@9494jess - For me personally I love the Kobe 6s best, the Fly Wades are right with them. I actually really liked the LeBron 8 V1/V2 as well even though those werent guard shoes.
@supershoeman824 - There are plenty of good shoes to ball in... The Fly Wade were one of the better ones along with the Kobe VIs. LeBron 8 V1/V2 are great options as well.
@mastergrim8 - Well the Kobe IVs are still one of my top favs, I was answering for this yr only not all time lol. If they used that new lunerlon foam that shit would be EPIC!

@moelest - I have htese in my regular sz 9 and felt they fit perfect. You might even be able to see my footprint on the insole which shows my foot shape in them and it fits perfectly unlike the 2011.

@TheMiamiHeatFan361 - I dont know... you can get the Fly 23 for about $69 at Finishline though.
really nice review man you are killing ti getting into detailed man keep it up
@DrPimpin23 - Yes, you can see it in the vid.
@infalet - Dont buy the Crazy Light... thats all I can say about those right now. The Fly Wade has been the biggest surprize for me, love them!
@TheMiamiHeatFan361 - Honestly... yes, I owned a pair of them before and gave them away. They were comfortable but they just look funny to me.
@TheMiamiHeatFan361 - Thats a hard one... I really like wearing the Jordan 13s... the 1s, 3s, 5s, 12s... there are a whole bunch that I enjoy. Pretty much everything from Chucks to Jordans I enjoy wearing.

@airjordan23III - You could but I dont know how long the traction would last outdoors... like the kobe 6s, the traction pattern will get worn down rather quickly.
@lamborghiniItaly - For playing I prefer new tech. As for standing out, try and get the loudest colorway available.
@no40 - I would go with the kobe or fly wade honestly.
i bought two pairs of these a red one and blue one at athletes foot in chicago for $150 buy one get one free. theyre awesome. best shoes i buy this year. thnx for the review dude u convinced me to buy em
FINALLY WAITED FOR THESE FOR SOO LONG
@wwebster15 - I dont wear orthotics so I wouldnt be the best person to answer that. I would assume that it may take away the feeling the cushion gives you while its directly under foot but itll still do its job absorbing impact even if orthotics are used.
@MNDbOyZ - Gotcha, the place I got it from said it was a remix... which it is I guess bc the real version is nothing like the track I have lol.
@therealdeal3161 - If they arent avail in stores then yes.
Excellent review as always. So tempted to cop these. Are you wearing the crazy lights yet?
I've had the fly wades almost for a year now. The same ones above they are showing there age some now but there still perfect. You can see some creaces quite early in there age, but I think it looks nice :)

good review bro..i was debating on which one i should buy..thanks for making it easier..
@WheresmyCucumber - Either of the three are good. They all have pretty good traction. Fit is very nice as well. The LeBron and Hyperfuse are more durable while the Fuse only offers forefoot cushion, but if thats all you need then it isnt a bad thing.
@CatWhisks - I havent tried it or seen it yet but I will prob pick it up and use it on a pair of kicks with bad traction and see what happens.
@swingin276 - I personally think the Wades dont look nice casually but are great performers. The 2011 W Flight look alright, prefer the regular 2011s looks wise.
@mrfresh9900 - After what happend I wouldnt count on it lol. They were supposed to drop the LeBron 8 PS 'Finals' but Im not sure if they will now.
@mosnaidei - They do crease easily. Esp in the high wear areas.
What song is used for the intro and outro?
@digimonki - I wouldnt say they are the best bc I havent worn every shoe out right now. They are one of the better performers IMO and out of the shoes I have worn so far, these and the kobe 6s are tied for #1.
@AceCommander17R - You could but they wont last very long. The traction will wear out rather quickly.

@playinglikeaboss - I wrote about the HyperFuse 2011 on my site. I personally think the wades are much better overall.
@TheMiamiHeatFan361 - There was no need to... the Fly Wade and Fly 23 are the same shoe.
@ShaJos586 - I wouldnt say its a huge difference but I would rather have the outrigger thats featured on the wades vs the 2011s thats for sure... esp if you land funny which happens sometimes.
@TheMiamiHeatFan361 - I wouldnt say they are bad, I just wouldnt choose to use them on court.
I wore some jordans like these years ago that had the same exact outsole but cannot find what they were called. Its really bothering me ive researched extensively but still cant find anything. @M0n3ySt34L3rs - No women... I forgot to post a link in the description.
@hiiplayhalo3 - Well the Fly Wade is a great shoe. I also liked the LeBron 8 V2 a lot as well.
@ToaIgnika1000 - I prefer the Fly Wade for Guards
@basketballphile - Thanks bro! Ive been slacking on vids myself... been super busy. If you are talking about Curry's surgery then I heard it was good and healing now. If its about him having his own sneakers then no lol.
@dp122492 - I love the XIV but these are better. Lighter, more flexible, I do prefer the zoom air in the heel where these have air max. The traction was better as well esp over time. The older models are great but nothing beats newer tech and materials usually... not always but usually.

@NewStyleCrookz - Could be both. Mine are starting to separate above the outrigger, the midsole and upper are separating... They are really great shoes but lack durability
@supershoeman824 - No I dont think I will. Not a big fan of the 7s... if I see them for a decent price I may eventually.
@nightwing2303 Thanks man I'm considering the Wades or possibly the Lebron 8v2s or the Hyperfuses. Any thoughts on those shoes?
@jchrist4life - The LeBron 8 V2 are great. Def one of my favs this yr. Id go with something like the LeBron or even something a little lighter and lower for court feel. The Kobe 6, Q Flight or Under Armour shoes are great options.
@MNDbOyZ - Didnt find it to be a problem at all.
WOOOOOH! U finnally amde a review bout the fly wades! =D
@mastergrim8 - Well the Kobe IVs are still one of my top favs, I was answering for this yr only not all time lol. If they used that new lunerlon foam that shit would be EPIC!
Great video as always man! Thing about designing a pair on NIKE ID.
ur reviews are awsome!!
Damn i had no idea the Wades were supposed to be the 2011's. i wish they were. i think they look better IMO. i might copp when the price is right
@MNDbOyZ - Hahaha, not a low chance at all. I did post a pic on feet on my twitter a while ago...
Nice review. I'm looking for a hoopin' shoe. I think I will grab these. Thanks!
Hey nightwing, I'm a huge noobie to the Jordan brand, so I don't know if this is on other Jordan shoes but what is that large red material in the middle of the traction? My guess would be that it acts like carbon fiber and gives you that arch, but honestly I have no clue. It seems a little big to be a type of arch support, so is it for cushion? Thanks in advance! And fantastic review!
Wussup man...I've been slacking on ur videos but great review! Have u heard about the Steph Curry's?
@moelest - I have htese in my regular sz 9 and felt they fit perfect. You might even be able to see my footprint on the insole which shows my foot shape in them and it fits perfectly unlike the 2011.
@IHYDRO718I - I prefer the look of the 2011 but I prefer the performance of the fly wade. Thanks bro!
which is better these or the zoom kobe vi??
@joeyj607 - Give them some time, once the traction breaks in theyre just fine.
