See, now I like the pink flowers and the pink shell. It looks like they are all one, instead of a shell next to some flowers. It takes a minute to realize you are looking at two different things nd I love that! A hard unyielding shell that comes from under the sea looks so similar to a delicate soft flower that comes from under the ground!
Blown away by this piece! I can see you’ve improved a lot since the start of the channel, even though your earlier paintings are also incredible! I especially love the touches of purple in the flowers and leaves, and the brown in the shell. The reflection was interesting too, I quite liked it. Thanks for sharing as always.
These paintings are absolutely stunning, the colours are so delicate and compliment each other so well. Your style is my favourite on you tube due to your mastery of colour and attention to detail. Thank you for sharing your work, I look forward to each new one. I have a similar style so find this so inspiring it never fails to entice me to pick up the paint brush again. Thanks again ❤️
Your techniques are perfection! the layering, masking and negative space is impeccable and comes together so naturally in the end, thanks for sharing❤️
Thank you so much! 💜 I really appreciate the feedback as all I see towards the end is imperfections but it’s encouraging. Next weeks white shell is a lot more streamlined in terms of the process so I am doing a detailed tutorial for it 💜 have a wonderful day! 😊💕
Anna, your delicate, careful details are astonishing. If only I could, comes to mind. I have learned much from your tutorials, and will continue to reach for my potential with your guidance. Thank you,Anna.💕
Your paintings are always amazing. I’ve learnt so much from your videos. Walking us through your thought process is so helpful. Thank you for all you share here and on Skillshare. Look forward to seeing next week’s video. Take care.
Beautiful work; beautiful video. I am enjoying the way you guide our eyes throughout the frame to different visuals and relax us with your voice. It's a complete package ❤
Your technical ability is amazing, so top notch and I especially admire your soft layering techniques. Thanks so much for sharing. The shadow shell was exquisite.
Hi Anna, This shell is so beautiful! I also love the reflection on the table. You mentioned that you might redo the shell with a different composition/background. I would love for this shell with the little shell inside to be a tutorial on Patreon. It was my favourite of the two shells you painted. Would you consider doing a tutorial for it in the New Year? I am also keen on you doing a portrait of a little girl or boy because the little girl you painted in your RUclips video on 10 tips for painting portraits was so beautiful! Hoping you will consider doing one or both of them 😊
I am learning watercolor by tracing the subject and coloring them in. I want to learn drawing too because what I want to eventually be able to create is fantasy storytelling through art and so tracing will not be an option for that. However, before that I want to figure out how I color in my subjects. Anyway, my point was that I have always felt bad about tracing what I want to paint as I don't have drawing skills and learning to draw at the same time as painting feels too overwhelming for me. To hear a professional artist say it's okay to trace makes me feel better about what I've been doing, especially as I don't sell my paintings.
I love this shell with all my heart! It’s so beautiful!! Also, your video editing quality has gone way up! All those close up shots of you reaching for pencils, etc are a nice touch.
Huge thank you for mentioning the shots - it means a lot to me if you notice and enjoy those as I am actively working to find my video editing style. To be completely honest I am slightly bored with editing straightforward top down shots (although they are super important, it gets very monotonous to edit over time) and I am trying to become better at editing, introducing different angles. Completely new to this more cinematic way of showing things in action close-up but trying to apply the same principles I teach in Watercolor - practice , experiment, listen to feedback. Just the fact that you noticed makes me so happy and encouraged to work harder for my next video 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
@@AnnaBucciarelli I love series paintings. I am doing flowers and butterflies atm. Only 6 months into watercolor so it is still a learning process. RUclips and people like you make learning a lot easier.
Thank you Sandra 💕 Would love to be able to do that one day but with small kids my set up is sadly not suitable. Planning to rent some space in the future for painting and teaching, for now just sticking to RUclips and contemplating what is possible 😊
Hey Anna, I voted for the another shell in Patreon but this video was so insightful. I liked the way you described your thoughts. I loved the play of colors but but but, I am mesmerized by the reflection you placed at the end. Can you in future teach us how to paint reflection? I am so scared of messing up the reflection but even your reflection was so delicate so beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed your video and learned something new as always ❤
Oh yesss the other shell is a lot more “logical” in a sense of layer sequence. But reflection was fun and involves “lifting” technique (where I rub the brush over painted surface) but with a bit of a twist as I am doing on wet paper right after I painted the gray. Struggling to think how to effectively “teach” it as it’s mostly timing. I think I might do another “timing” exercise video for this just talking about different lifting effects on cotton paper. I am always concerned the viewers may not see the same result depending on their brand of paper / precise timing but perhaps I am overthinking it….. 😊
This shell is gorgeous!! ❤. I love the colors you used and the soft effect and your calm thorough way of teaching. I also love the painting of the Chinese lantern flowers with the snail. Is this shell in your Patreon tutorials?
I absolutely love your painting! I enjoy the florals with the shell. What shapers did you use to apply the masking fluid? And, what do you use to remove the masking fluid? Thank you for all of your mesmerizing tutorials!
Where can I get that rubber tool you used for applying the masking fluid? I didn’t find it in the description. I wish I could get my painting process as refined as yours. You make it look so easy 😊
Haha awww 💜 here in Toronto we get like 6 months of freezing cold - all I think of is moving to an island somewhere with more reasonable temperatures ☀️ have a wonderful day wherever you are! ✨💕
I can’t get over the colours in your paintings! They’re so gentle and beautiful & it makes you feel so relaxed to look at

I think that painting is stunning. An owner would never tire of it because there would always be something new in the painting to see.
The shells are so beautiful alone try one without the florals. Gorgeous.

Nice colors, nice blends, and great control of light. FloraShell for a name. I like FantaSea better though.
