@Tyler Stalman if you pull the peak design wrist strap all the way open, the metal loop will go over a thicker piece of the strap and it won't auto tighten unless you drop your camera.
Thank you to come to Thailand, I am your FC channel. Your video, and your content is so good to take the story from Thailand.🎉🎉😊❤😊 merry Christmas and happy new year in Thailand. Thank you.
With the camera leash - push it further when open and it will lock. It still tightens if you drop the camera but is easier to get on and off. It's part of the design
Omg a 15 hour flight?!?! I get anxious just thinking about that. RF glass is so insanely good. You wouldn’t think it would be that much better than EF but it rules.
I got a similar Bluetooth thing a year ago in an airport and works amazing. I can even stick it in the USB some seats have to keep it charged. Works great with over the ear headphones with noise cancellation in airplanes.
have you tried leaving the wrist strap on your wrist? You can unclip it and there is a magnet to wrap it back around itself so the wrist strap is a bracelet when not in use?
I did not know that the smallrig batteries could charge over usb. That’s a game changer. My smallest v mount charger is like 4x the size of a usb charger. Also the fact those small v mount batteries look way smaller than the overkill ones I typically send with a camera pack make me super excited.
Thanks for the great video. The PD wrist strap is great but I agree that auto tighten thing can be really difficult! I would love to see a video about how you backup and use your external HDs! Thanks.
In regard to those Peak Design wrist straps, I had the same issue with them tightening around my wrist in a way that made them very slow to get off. Being a huge fan of wrist straps I've actually sewn mine at a point where I can get them off without hassle but that they still are snug enough that if I drop my camera it doesn't hit the deck. Seems defeatist, well a little, but gets the job done in a way that suits me and my way of working. 😀
Do you have a redundant copy of your files in a second location? I see you have a slower drive, but if it’s in the same bag as your SD’s and SSD’s your in trouble if you lose your bag (a major concern when traveling). Maybe ask your companion to hold a copy. Otherwise at least have one copy in your pocket tethered to your pants.
Also, I have the same complaint about the Peak Design hand strap. I never cinch mine, tho. It stays on the hand but most of the time stays loose enough that I can undo quickly...
Hey! Just a heads up the small rig battery shouldn’t be used to charge a switch, this also applies to all other non officially licensed power banks or power bricks. The switch doesn’t use the standard PD protocol and therefore using the non licensed chargers can sometimes brick switches.
Nah, Switch bricking was only because of non-compliant docks. And only if you use that dock to output to a TV via HDMI. You can safely use any quality and USB-C power banks to charge the Switch.
The Fujifilm XT3 screen is optimised for filmmaking too!! Why oh why are people going on and on about the flip out screen being for video…NO, this screen is perfect for photographers and filmmakers. Only RUclipsrs want the flip out screen, hence that’s why we’re inundated with this damn screen. Well done Fujifilm, but I do wish they just didn’t market this for photographers..

Can someone help??? You opened up that(I'm assuming) Pelican SD card case. Why is it no SD card case I ever buy can hold the SD cards consistently?? Mine ALWAYS fall out. I don't get it........
@@Battlem0nk Yup it is by design, they showed it on one of their videos. Moreover it's designed so that should camera fall off your hand it will auto-tighten the strap just by the force of falling camera.
Do you recommend the 6-9 stop for the RF15-35 F2.8 for shooting in C-Log 3 at ISO 800 in bright sunny conditions? Because i'm currently maxed out at the 5th stop on the VND
You're in Phuket. I'm your avid subscriber living in Phuket. If time permits, I'd like to meet you over a cup of coffee and talk about the camera. go for it
what theeeee, ive been looking for a way to monitor my audio filming at a wedding wirelessly, AirPods fly thing is on its way
U can use a DJI Mic for tgey too. Output to the mic and monitor, with wired headphones, from the receiver in your pocket.

WOW this was so well made! Thanks for sharing and so well edited!
When you showed the bag true to how it would actually look and not all neat got a insta like very good insight ❤
Awesome update, thanks and cheers, big probs for the moonswatch 🙏🏻
So amazing. I actually just got here yesterday! All my extended family lives here. Loved your video and gave me ideas for some shots for sure!
I really like the flash, the v mount battery and the slim phone charger.
Perfect!
Great gear!
For an even smaller flash that has pretty good output and can be off camera as well as on camera is the flashq q20 II. You will love it

there is a lock on the peak design wrist strap open it up all the way and pull a little more and it pops into open position
Love your video ❤❤Merry Christmas ❤buddy
Hi Tyler. Great video. What is the Specs on the Macbook Air.

Agreed, simple solution for me was a small piece of Gaff tape on the inside of the strap.
Tyler I love your content - so great to see you rocking! And I’m going to Japan in March - have been watching all your recent content for tips! 🙌🏼❤️
The peak design wrist strap does lock open. You need to pull it pretty hard; then it's good to go.
Tyler my PM VND 2-5 stop arrived today from B & H for my Canon R5 and I love it!
Envarto is OP! Been using it for ages now
The audio sounds amazing on the video micro!! Might have to pick it up to add to my portable kit
Yeah I was really happy with it, has some decent punch for it’s size

Hi Tyler,
I always have audio problems and I have a shotgun mic plugged but the audio never sounds like yours. Can you give me some advice?

lol I'm flying to the Philippines tomorrow and its a 24 hour flight... love seeing what you were bringing cause I want to bring everything too
fun stuff! curious to know your thoughts on the 15-35 with your c70!
Wait, so if you have EF glass why not try the drop in filter EF/RF adapter?

Nice gear!
Wondering if many small scratches on the nd filter (have the same pmk) will impact the photo or video?
Many small scratches is worse than one big scratch. It can definitely soften the image
@@stalman Thank you!
@@stalman I did the test and I couldn’t find difference in softness between with and without the filter, maybe they are (hopefully) very shallow 😀

Surprised how the Fuji looked similar to R5. If you switch between them I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference

Hey Tyler great video 9:22 I too love this small flash is so good for the price I love using it on my Leica q is very minimalistic. Cheers brother
Yeah I think this is the flash most people need most of the time
Is this camera good for event and weddings? How's the auto focus hit rate?
As you say in the video, the RF 15-35 is so much better than EF 16-35. And so is the RF 24-70! So time to switch the old EF 😉
Can you give us an address of that wonderful hotel? 🙏🏻
Where can I get hold of that hat? 🔥
do you bring gimbals with you?
Would the air fly work on a camera to be able to monitor audio with AirPods???
absolutely, that’s actually the use case where I first saw it in action
If you pull the Peak Design wrist strap open, quite hard, it'll pinch and stay open. Hope that helps!
I kinda sorta got mad at mine one day and pulled too hard. That's how I found this out.
Waaahhhh... it works! Is this by design? Mind blown!
i've always been annoyed with the strap closing up and can't undo with one hand.
@@Battlem0nk Yup it is by design, they showed it on one of their videos. Moreover it's designed so that should camera fall off your hand it will auto-tighten the strap just by the force of falling camera.

Yeah I just had to stop down to f4.0 or even f5.6 with the 2-5 ND, so yes you do need both filters for a complete kit
@@stalman really appectie it :)
Anker has a charger similar in size to that 12 South one but it is up to 45 watts

Peak design wrist strap, slide it to the very end, you will feel it clip into place
How do you keep yourself from thieves

Xt5 af is trash wtf
It the focus point was off in a corner, and since it doesn’t have a flip screen I didn’t know. It would have been fine if I had noticed
