Wonderful car. Avoid the 'Toyota' Starlet. They've cut down on the service plan, removed the cruise control (big horrible blank space on your steering wheel where it was) and charge you more. Insanity.
Got it one month ago. PDI done sloppily as glue marks of tape used to cover the new car in transit can still be seen. The service book was not filled in, so I had to cajole to get it done. The boot release button sometimes works. This is on 21 working day back order after a visit to Suzuki. Other than that and a rattle in the dashboard, it is a nice car that drives smoothly in traffic and short highway trips. The front seats seem a bit "unsturdy" though.
Love my stunning blue 2023 GLX man. Decent performance, spacious and fantastic fuel consumption, I'll choose the Baleno over the Fronx anyday as the the Fronx may be slightly underpowered.
Fronx is more powered but not enough that matters both are similar cars fronx is just a raised Baleno with a minimal tuning of engine , in my experience fronx is just little more peppy engine but not that much of a difference
I have the manual and my friend has the automatic. I much prefer the manual one, although the auto is also fine if it's an importsnt requirement for you. The automatic gearbox is not one of the nice ones out there and it chows more fuel. But it's still fine. That aside, this is a great car. Everything you need and more at a nice price.
In my opinion my brother, you have 3 options… put in the R50k and don’t lower the instalment (finish the car earlier), put in the R50k and reduce your monthly instalment by~R1k(more liquid cash available for you) or invest the R50k in the stock market or put it as emergency savings. This depends entirely on your needs .
@@Cars24NhlakaniphoMpungose I like the last option. In case one loses a job, or faces a few months of no salary that R50k will come in useful so you can continue your basic monthly payments.
No my friend, it doesn’t come with tire pressure monitoring system. But as in all vehicles it has a mini graph that show recommended tire pressures next to the driver’s door
It would be unwise to spend more than 20% of your monthly salary on a vehicle (that’s repayment, insurance and fuel) remember, cars are depreciating year by year, so find one that suits your budget as after a few months, a new car is just a car at the end of the day
Getting this car in November as my first car as a graduation gift from my parents I’m very excited I keep coming back and watching this video
That’s nice man. You will definitely enjoy it🥳
…and am a proud owner of this car - I have a silver colour, bought it in February. It’s a darling 🥰
I am buying this car this year, great review as always🎉😊
I thank God that today I re-watch this as a proud Baleno owner, 2024 GLX auto for that matter 🙌🙏
Congrats friend and welcome to the team🤝🏾
How is the fuel consumption on the auto, what are you averaging?
Wonderful car. Avoid the 'Toyota' Starlet. They've cut down on the service plan, removed the cruise control (big horrible blank space on your steering wheel where it was) and charge you more. Insanity.
I am buying this car next year kwi internship😂😂🤞🏾
That would be the best decision ever👌🏽
Nami ngizosithatha lesosnqumo next year😅😅
Proud owner of Suzuki Baleno since January 2023 ❤️
❤️
How is it treating you?
No issues so far and it is also fuel efficient. I love the fact that it offers more at an affordable price.
What is your experience ? I know someone who averages 7.4l/100km
@@malekahlologelo5316 you must have a very heavy foot to achieve that with this car😂
Glx baleno since 2022, enjoying it even now

Thanks man✌🏽

great review
Does it have hill start assist?
Yes it does. Both GL and GLX
Nice, why doesn't have seat adjustments 😢
I don’t really know🥲
Currently Suzuki is the best thing in SA
Yes definitely my friend

Fuel efficient, is almost a year with it
This is interesting.. What do you mean the other colour's are hard to maintain
Take for an example a black/navy colour.. stretches are easily identified with a naked eye.
@@Cars24NhlakaniphoMpungose makes sense thank you so much for this. 🙏
Thank you so much, this is still my favourite vehicle but the automatic
Yeah it’s R20k more than the manual gearbox

Does the car have rear camera?
Yes
GLX has 3D camera
Brothers I got R50 k. Is it good enough to lower the instalment?

i wanted this car but i didnt like something about the auto transmission
5 speed manual is excellent👌🏽
I want it😭♥️
Suzuki prices are up again, Baleno GL now start at R255, 900. Fronx at R297, 900.
I just saw that as well💔 . Are they also making improvements on the car or it’s the price only that goes up?
@@ZoneleVukeit seems like is price increase only 😢

Guess they're taking advantage of the demand. Plus the competition failing to offer as much value as they do
Is there a difference in the 2023 and 2024 Baleno ?
Does it show the tire pressure monitoring details on the screen?

What kind of usb does it use
USB-A
@@Cars24NhlakaniphoMpungosethanks. Does it have an electromagnetic tailgate? A button you can press to open and close the boot?
@@randomasmr8158 nope it manually operated

This is probably the best affordable hatchback in SA.I just don`t like the biscuit sparewheel.
Ya it’s not giving Ndosi
