- The long journey of our Mandalorian Build has reached it's end . . . for now! No Mandalorian kit is ever really finished, but we were able to get ours to a presentable state for Star Wars Celebration 2022. In this episode we show you are last minute "Con Crunch" to get the kits ready, and some of the great experiences from Star Wars Celebration!

It was so cool to run into both of you outside the droid room after my son insisting on going through it for the 6th time. Thank you so much for the time you spent talking to my son about him wanting to build his own droid, he has yet to stop talking about it.

I went to the first three Celebrations, with the first one, despite the overcast weather, being the best. I have such fond memories of it. The fact I volunteer at Wings Over The Rockies Air and Space Museum only adds to my nostalgia for Celebration I.

Your costumes came to an awesome finish. All of your hard work and time spent were worth it; I especially like all of the layering of fabrics and armor panels to make it your own.

Love the open. The con crunch is real! I built a mando costume several years back for DragonCon. 3 months work and finally had to call it at 6:00am day of the con. It’s never complete…. Great work and content as always!

Amazing video! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! I really like the mando costumes and especially soft parts. I’m just beginning my own set of armor as a ‘children of the watch’ era from the mandalorian flashbacks and I’ve almost finished painting my helmet. Not anytime soon but I really want to go to celebration for the first time and see so many Star Wars fans together. MTFBWY

Pro-tip on using that hole punch. For longevity, I would not use the snap anvil as a backstop. Use a cutting board or at least a piece of scrap wood or thick leather.

First off I want to say those mandalorian costume are FRICKING AWESOME and it looks so amazing. Both of you did amazing jobs putting these costumes together.
Also I am very very jealous of your droid repair men costumes If you don't mind I wanna steal this idea for my own costume. It makes me think of ghostbusters in space which sounds cool.

The struggle is real! But the rush when it all comes together is worth it. Decided with just over a month to go before SDCC to do my take on a Rebel pilot.

Saw all the posts on Instagram, commented and liked all of them. As a fellow maker and Mandalorian i know a challenge comes when constructing Armor but what you and Carissa went through was a journey and in the end your kits look magnificent and powerful. You both should be very proud of the work you’ve done. This is the Way! P.S sorry i wasn’t at Celebration but i was there with you in spirit.

Looks great👍I think one think to add would be a flash hood or like a balaclava underneath the helmet? Or something darker for the neck like we see on the mandalorians and clone troopers in clone wars

Yesterday I put my head in a helmet where the inside foaming was still cooling from hotglueing. 😢My hair are glued now and I have burned my head 😭 today I will build the chest piece (obvious reasons) 😂

No, no, I will be smarter. I am absolutely sure. My first major event in costume will be this September. So...still plenty of time left. And still, I am beginning to feel a slight bit of chrunch...but why? Costume is 70 % done. Oh, maybe because there is this tiny detail of a Boba Fett post-Sarlacc jetpack still to be fine sanded. And then the paintjob...oh dear. And I still have to go through Mandalorian Mercs approval. Thus...it starts to get a crunchy.
