    I like every videos that comes out of the Smugglers Room, but my favorites have to be when Carissa shows up! She adds a soft warmth to the videos that just makes it so inviting to watch! Love you both, I have a VERY extensive list of projects that I want to do, a lot of which have come out of the Smugglers Room builds. Thank you so much!!

    Brian and Carissa you guys have been a huge part of my introduction to greeblies and i've been using lots of greeblies in my armor and props now like bottle caps and little bits of pens. Your Mando Costumes look so cool I like the styles both completely different. I just finished mine than decided it need a little more greeblies on it so I remade the chest plate all over again. Now I'm satisfied with my costume. Good luck and I wish i could be at the Star Wars Celebration. Thanks for being geeks and for inspiring my Mando Costumes Journey. This is the Way I have spoken.

    I am currently working on my design to join my Mando Mercs, Haaranovor Clan here in The Rocket City. Not only do I build custom stuff (which as soon as the new site is up, i'll be happy to share with you) i'm also an EMT. The Mercs do some great outreach and work with younglings. I'm trying to piece together events where I can work as an EMT alongside the Mandos with kids in hospitals, etc. Watching how you both dive into projects really helps me. With ADHDDDDDDDD+, I measure 7 times..walk away...measure again...get another person to measure and ensure i'm accurate or close....and cut as many times as needed haha. If you haven't already, maybe you could talk to your local Ruus'alor with the Mercs. You could encourage and inspire the next gen of builders. I believe you already are doing that. Keep rocking it.

    For when you get to your Helmets, Look into medieval helmet liners, they're WAY more comfortable imo and lighter than most modern padding solutions. Plus they can be made adjustable to get the helmet sitting at the exact right spot. I have a padded suspensor liner in my Mando helmet that I got with a replica medieval steel helmet that I got for reenactment, though I did add a couple of motorcycle cheek pads for added stability. Its way lighter, more comfortable and less warm than when I just used pads.

    • @RainMakeR_Workshop
      @RainMakeR_Workshop 2 года назад

      @@TheSmugglersRoom No problem. Don't get me wrong though, pads are just fine. I just think liners are better if you're a perfectionist about where it sits on your head and will be wearing the helm for hours. Comfort and weight can eventually get to you if its not light enough or comfortable enough.

    If you want to create Mandalorian Armours but make them look not too similar to the Mando or Boba Fett, you can always go a few thousand years back to the time of the old republic, where Mandalorians played a huge role.

    Where did you get the sintra plastic and how much was it, looking to build my own mando armor and can't find any affordable options. I've seen tap plastics has them but they're about an hour and a half away. I also saw galon buckets are an option for this but idk still

    These are really cool. If your going for accuracy tho the female helmet is also different. How did you make those helmets too? You never showed

      Not going for any accuracy. We are creating our own. We've never been much for screen accurate on this channel. The helmets were 3D printed. Nothing special, we just 3D printed files we purchased online.
