    I just love the editing on this channel and showing highly skilled panel beating that looks like it is done in a few minutes but actually takes hours and hours. Wonderful workmanship at every level

    I love the editing in this. The effect of making it look like he's just snapping the pattern apart is hilarious as well as the the speed up making it look like he's consumed enough coffee for a month.

    What is happening at 18:15? Does heating the steel make it take the brass off the brush, or some other coloring process??

      Brass is removed in any case, only when heated there is no oil, dust, and probably an oxide film on the surface .. Therefore, brass sticks better

    8:26 are the edges crazy sharp when you break pieces off? Sometimes I get burrs when I do that and you can get a cut before you know it.

    3:30 Please be safe when using an angle grinder. You should to use the guard, and use both hands. Don't want you to lose a finger.
    And please never hold something in front of the angle grinder. It can catch and jump forward amd remove your finger. If you're concerned about clamping your armor, you could probably add a piece of rubber or fabric such as a towel between the clamp and the armor to prevent denting.

    How do you know which shape to cut out before shaping? Is there a method to it? Does it always work out the first time?

      I'm not certain however I would assume that the method for determining the shape to cut would be similar to the method in sewing. It should be easy to look up if it is.

    Just stumbled on to your channel while I was trying to research for a related project. Do you take commissions?
