  • I spent 80 hours on the helmet. Material - 30hgsa, thickness is 2mm. Weight with crown 7360g. Weight without crown 4700g.
I live in Ukraine. Surely you know that the war has come to us. I'm lucky. I am relatively safe and I have both electricity and the Internet. So I can make videos. Our entire knight movement is now actively opposing rascism. Someone from the first days of the war is already in the military, someone is engaged in volunteering to cover the needs of the military or civilians in trouble.
With my creativity, I plan to collect donations to help my friends. Many I know personally. Therefore, I leave my details for those who wish to help.

The craftsmanship here is absolutely astounding. I work with sheet metal on aircraft and have some idea of what it takes and what you’re able to create is…unimaginable to me.
    Breathtaking work.

Dang, you turned that out pretty quickly. I subscribed a few minutes in,this will definitely help me to learn more about medieval crafts.
The helmet would have been worth more than a farm in the old days. I suspect that there's little about armory practices that you wouldn't already know.

Long time black Smith made desingned wood (tree) sablom. And not weld 😂hahaha.
different connections for each part. Without using welding work. Heated in coal and bent joints. similar to the metal joints of a house roof. This was the case with brown uniforms and brown hats. The intricate details were made with clay or plaster and finally wood. In wooden forms, it is easier for smiths to complete protective head armor forms. Well, nowadays, how do you do it simply and quickly. Using partly old technologies and new technologies. Welding equipment.

I always thought the *Wild Hunt* helmets, and indeed armor, were laughable and ridiculous looking. I think it's the whole wide eyes like a "deer staring into the lights of an oncoming car" kind of thing. And the laughing faces, like your toothy grin you added to yours. But I wanted to see your tools for dishing out the metal. You have an impressive collection of self made, I presume, anvils and such. Really impressive work. It was a shame to see you use a welder in the construction. But I guess it speeds things up so you can make more money. I'm more of a traditionalist. But nicely done all the same, disregarding the fact they look laughable.
