Just saw him a couple weeks ago in CT. He and his backing band were amazing. You can tell he works really hard as his craft. His voice is beautiful and he sounds like the record in person. Plus he’s extra fine.
I saw him in Cleveland, OH and I second this statement
Lord he is beautiful, lol!!
Yes. He sounds great live .Ridiculously fine in person.
Lucky Daye and Brandy would be fiya.
absolutely!!!!!
Oh my lord. Yes.
I just heard her voice in my head 🔥🔥🔥
Yesss!! Speak it to existence!!🙌🏾🙌🏾
Jhene and him would be fire too.
His voice so unique. I fell in love instantly when he released 'Roll some mo'. I'm so glad you mentioned his high voice. I love it when men are not afraid to use their full voice. Thank you for this!
Bruhhh roll some more🔥
High pitch is not whole voice
A combination between singer Case and Glenn Lewis.
Lucky Daye is my favorite artist of today, hands down! His love and understanding of music shines through in everything he does. He's not a very "showy" type of singer, but that man be SANGIN DOWN. One of my favorite things about him is the very quick vibrato he puts on the ends of his words and phrases, as well as the placement of his runs and how clean they are. He beyond gets it. And I agree with you that he definitely has a high voice. His tone isn't super bright so one might miss it, but try to sing his songs and you'll quickly realize that he be UP there. 😂 with his FINE chocolate self. 😍😅 Whew that's my man and I love me some him! ❤ As always love the reaction Jaron. ☺
His Tiny Desk is so good too.
You gotta do hub and Yebba's live version of "how much can a heart take", it's so FIRE!!!
Yes it is
If you haven’t, can you react to Lucky Daye and Yebba - How Much Can A Heart Take performance 🔥🔥
The live version is 🔥🔥🔥
I just saw him live and he sounds exactly the same live and puts on an amazing show. I’m in love!
This man voice sounds just like his song on the radio/album.Not many can say that👏🏾
Eric Roberson can, his voice and live performances are the truth!
Vocally, this guy is in a lane all by himself. I would rank Kevin Ross as a close second of singers with a similar tone. I love singers who sound flawless effortlessly. With or without runs, Lucky Daye is really masterful at how he uses his voice and he pours his heart and soul into his music. He's a true artist and amazing songwriter and is truly gifted in his craft. He seems to be a very sensitive soul who knows how to captivate an audience without even doing much. You can tell he feels every word. I watched several of his live concert online and he sounds exactly like his records if not better. Most of today's artists can't say that. Can't wait to see him perform live!
Two of my favorites.
Well my young boy Tyus sounds great too check him out
He did a set with Saddiq and it was awesome. I feel in love with his artistry. Sadiq just gave the set to him...
He is a very good singer love the placement of his runs as well
Another thing I love about your show is that you show why a singer chooses his word pronounciation which that to me ,for the first time, gives me an understanding of what the vocalist was doing with the song and what they wanted to convey. You are awesome dude. You really are.
Yeah, we really don't care how he pronounce his words correctly or not. He story tells through his lyrics so effectively and passionately, so soulfully, we love his singing and performances, because he's not focused on trying to sing perfectly, he's just focused on sharing and singing the song from his soul. Keep up the good work @luckydaye 🥰.
Love me some lucky daye
Saw him last night in Seattle, sounding exactly like the record. Perfect vocals
I enjoy these so much chile 😭😭😭
This was so dope! 💜
I love Lucky Daye ! As a woman, I practice his vocal
Style to learn and his voice is so beautiful, the runs are immaculate, and his breath control is top notch! This was a great breakdown of what he’s doing, thank you! I Subscribed to learn more! 🎤🎶
Love the way you explain the vocals 💯
You are amazing at what you do. Love your videos!
Yaaassssss. You are such an amazing critic. And I am a huge fan of lucky daye
He's good!!!! Much success to you young man!
God bless you Brother
Jaron...You have an
extraordinary gift in presenting versatile artist...Love you Brother Jaron
Love how you're open to reviewing a variety of artists. You're sooooooo gifted. ❤
Love your content and knowledge
Thank you!
Love his voice, the way he moves. One of a kind. Awesome.
I loved hearing all of your awesome analysis thank you. My favourite part was 6.14, the clarity and nuance within the tempo. I also certainly noticed that signature when Lucky sang with Yebba on TV “How much can a heart take”. I adore his music (and his looks team) and particularly the song “Floods”.
Love all your videos! That hair looks so gorgeous as always!❤
Thank you so muuuuuuch!
my new favorite artist this song is on repeat @work when I'm closing up the kitchen#CHEFLIFE OVER GETS ME THROUGH MY DAY
You did on e of my fav artist!
I appreciate the break down bro
The way you pick up on the nuances of speech and sound, I want you to analyze my talking voice lol
1st of all I love him but sir YOUUUUU!!! I heard you sing for the first time a couple weeks ago on somebody’s YT channel & babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy 😱🤯🤯🤯. MIND BLOWN. It’s the range for me… your thoat (& yes I meant to drop the “R”) is anointed by the Lord himself.
GREAT video! I just found your channel could you PLEASE do Joe, Tank, Johnny Gill and Maxwell? Thank you in advance!
He can really sing in a more open projected voice. Here is him singing A Change is Gonna Come on RUclips titled - David Brown-American Idol Audition. He just used closed/ compressed vocals on this for style purpose.
Love this song and the sample of Musiq Soulchild's Half Crazy!
He has a unique voice and it's amazing. His sound is diff because he's from da N.O. period.
Can you do Musiq Soulchild “Half Crazy” since it sounds so similar? Kinda like an old school vs new school thing. Thanks!
Half Crazy is the sample
it sampled his song
@@DeeDee597 of course but his singing style is similar not talking about the sample
@Dee Dee & @Christina Graham Exactly💯
@@DeeDee597 'Vivre Pour Vivre' is the piece they sampled.
I vote yebba boomerang live performance next!!!!
First time I saw him and fell in love with his music is when he performed at Something In The Water concert. Candy Drip did it for me.
YAAAASS
YAAAAAAS THIS IS MY BRAND 😭😭
Off topic but voice teacher's locs are ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
He has a lisp 🥰
Please look at the over a capella
He's a New Orleans baby
so glad you doing my bae
You should check out Michael Korte’s Hercules Muses Medley with some amazing singers
Jaron may I request a chris stapleton tennessee whiskey or a john mayer live performance analysis. A little different genre but think that would be a nice touch for this channel.
Can you please do Say something by Brandy!
New Here love your channel and the work that you're doing.
I like when does the slide
and his vibrato
Yeah I think the pronunciation and vocal narrowing- or however you term it- is geographical. I feel like I hear this in Frank Ocean’s voice as well. And they actually sound very similar, vocally
Yo... I would love to hear Brandy Cover this 👀 🔥
Gotta check out his tiny desk with Raph Sadiq and good new song that you.
Can you do Ari Lennox // Static (Vevo DSCVR) next? it’s one of my favorite videos of Ari!
I still want to see Leslie Odom Jr. his live of O' Holy Night or Without You
Can you please do Jamie foxx??? I loveeee his voice!!! No one talks about it enough lol
You should listen to the one he did with no beat
Loved this! Can I request a Chris Brown vocal review? I've tried searching and no one's ever done one!
Chris Brown sings?
Lucky Daye gives me new age Eddie Kane from the 5 heart beats ❤️ vibes. With a Marvin Gaye musical undertone. Lol 😂
He reminds me of musiq soulchild half crazy
Can you do the live version of his song "How Much Can A Heart Take" feat Yebba?
I swear he wrote this song for me everything he says happened to me in my relationship😌😳
Jaron ty
Omar Apollo & Tone Stith.
Look into HRT .
That’s definitely that New Orleans in his accent.
You should react to faith city music doing tribute to tye tribbett with Kim Burrell
Can you please react to anything by the band Heart!
Ann Wilson is one of the best rock female singers of all time.
Please react to Hearts cover of “Stairway to heaven” by Led Zeppelin (live at the Kennedy center)
Songs:
-barracuda
-crazy on you
- magic man
Ima marry that man Perriodt 😂😘😘
His song Levels; his voice is much higher. Love him.| CORRECTION: I was thinking of Ashton London. My bad lol
Could you do some vocal exercises?
Can you please analyze ricky dillard ft kim b( things going to get better) its a particular runs I really want to know what she did and its like she's I'm her prime
It's the new Orleans
A combination between singer Case and Glenn Lewis.
I fw your high pitch voice you gotta be a soprano
Do a review on Azealia Banks please
Cam we please get Summer Walker?
plsss react to nobody but jesus - tasha page lockhart!
He has a voice similar to joe
The unedited version is so much better. "Fck do you mean" Hits so much harder
Brow, lucky is tha best bro, forget ...
You think some of the notes he hit in certain ways in this video was to save breath to keep the singing going? I wonder did you peep that 😂
Teach me how to sing lol
Like Alto but it's clear and airy.
He actually messed up in this version for the Toyota promo, check out the pure performance used for the actial official track version of the song: m.ruclips.net/video/CvIdnSrqIUY/видео.html
Also Lucky Daye has that natural autotunish tone to his voice like T-Pain (pain when he's not using autotune ofc) I guess its a Yoruba/Ewe/Fon thing.
Does he use auto tune
Not autotune but every artist uses some form of pitch correction nowadays, it's sort of expected. The the vocal isolation on a windy city rooftop leads to me believe it was either done live or in post.
auto tune?
Please react to my song baby i wanna or wallflower
You look like you paint Picasso’s in your sleep lol
Do you think that his "twang" is a result of the fact he is from New Orleans? Cause he says words sort of the way we would say them in the Caribbean.
He reminds me of Tory Lanez when he does an a singing record. Both great artist. I got in to Lucky last year.
Lol Tory could neva
i hear a bit of frank ocean
@@flighter7713 lol I agree with you there, 😅 😂
OK, not a fan of this brothas nasally, inability to hold a note for any amount of time, sound! The entire song has no dynamic's, sorta like a run on sentence. Just doesn't stand among singers like Luke James, Cam Anthony, or an Avery Wilson! But you did the best you could Jaron, with what you had to work with here. (yup, shady as hell) 🤣😂
He can sing but his music doesn't showcase his full vocal ability. It's one of my issues with him.
You have to hear the album. This is a simple song compared to his work
@@interlacedvibes agree! Listen to Used to Be on his new album. His voice is beautiful!
Sounds like you just like a lot of runs
