I just wanna say that Candy Drip is already Album of the Year. Is it too early to say, yes. But is this body of work outstanding start to finish… yes. I’m an 80’s baby who grew up on 90’s music and artists like Lucky, Alex Isley, Snoh, Victoria Monet, Ari Lennox and H.E.R. genuinely get me excited about R&B again.
