I only just now purchased this excellent plane over the weekend for $2 USD on Marketplace. It is a fantastic purchase with many options. As for the van traffic, etc at the airports, I am surprised that Asobo hasn't addressed this to add in a condition for traffic to yield to plane traffic, etc. It can't be that hard of a code to write with a few IF and ELSE statements. Anyway, thank you for pointing me to this plane (and many others). Cheers from the US!
Thank you for the nice review and flight, very nice to watch on a calm Saturday morning :) The RV-10 looks very good, only suffering from the basic G3X. But the WT430 seemed to work reasonably well, although I read on the MSFS forums that it could cause trouble with this plane. Surprised that this rural area has photogrammetry!

very nice video. think I will get it. just out of curiosity, do you use a stick or yoke? and which one? I have a honeycomb but thinking to get a stick for these kind of planes. recommendations?
As long as we are being technical, it’s actually a G3X Touch. It’s horrendously modeled in the sim also, which makes this aircraft less than in my opinion.
@@ChrisVirgilio - Yeah, why are people thinking this is the G3000? The G3000 since AAU1 is actually fantastic now (and looks nothing like this G3X Touch).
@@droge192 most people don’t even know that the G3X Touch even exists. It’s almost exclusively in experimental aircraft, though it is slowing getting certified (doubles the price) for small GA types. It’s an amazing piece of equipment that simply isn’t done justice in this model.
Late to the party, but: how much different is this RV-10 vs the RV-14 also by Simworks Studios (in case you have the RV-14, too). I'd consider it being pretty much "samey"?
Picked this up off the back of this and another review and it's a really nice plane, but I have found it does seem to have a bit of a Frame Rate hit. Actually the first Payware Aircraft I've purchased since upgrading hardware and switching from FSX.
A very good video as usual and this aircraft is very Temping very temping but I realy musn't first of all the dentist would like some of money for cleaning soon and amfraid that if I try to import a flight plan the G3x won't work and since it is in the msn store won't get this Sky4 bit.
You keep saying G3000, but that's the default Asobo Garmin G3X. The G3000 is the much more advanced unit from the TBM, Longitude etc. The G3000 was updated with the recent AAU update. This G3X wasn't. It's Asobo's weakest avionics unit in the sim now.
I couldn’t change the CDI mode from VOR. When I press the button it doesn’t do anything. Has anybody else had this? I ended up uninstalling it. It might be an Xbox thing.
I Trust Your reviews and Knowledge of flight simming but this one time I must refrain from purchasing this aircraft and fly the aircraft that I have ( Famous last words ) and some yes I have purchased based on Your Reviews Thank You.

van versus vans haha, nice video. wondering how different this is from the cirrus? considering buying it but dont want to have the same plane.
It's not so different - a lot of the GA planes are very, very similar :)
One big difference is that the Cirrus has a parachute. That doesn’t matter much in the sim, tho.
Still no Track Up mode in the map orientation.

I didn't notice a frame rate hit.
Neat little plane. I just dont fly them often in the sim. So will likely not add it to the lineup.
