Something to take into consideration also is the top speed varies on the weight of the rider, other than that great video my guy. Definitely going to buy the one I've been looking at for a while now tomorrow. :)

I've had a 750 in the past and I honestly have more fun on this. I ride a ninja 650 for what the tnt can't do because it's comfortable. But I love this tnt. In town it's so much more fun, and if you're into wheelies it's a blast lol

I like how it's fuel injected instead of being carbed like all of the other pit bikes. And not to mention that it can actually be cruised on the freeway.

Refer to your motorcycle permit manual when choosing bike lanes. When passing if you can't see them in their mirror they can't see you, most motorcycles are wiped out from being in blind spots staying in the #1 lane passing a vehicle that's on the right you should be closest to that vehicle in #3 lane and vis versa. I have over 100k miles under me since 2009 never had an issue using that rule of thumb. Though I have gone done hitting a deer, no amount of experience can prevent that.
So wait, the #1 lane is the far left lane? The vic you’re passing on the right is in the second lane to your immediate right and the #3 lane is the far right lane? How do you pass a vic that’s in the #2 lane while you are in the #1 lane staying closest to the #3 lane?
@@ChristopherJones16 lol no, there's 3 bike lanes per a single car lane. So a two lane highway one direction there's technically 6 bike lanes separated into 3's, from left to right 1,2,3,1,2,3. It also deals with the staggering method for motorcycle groups using 1 and 3 lanes so we have better braking distance between ourselves but also being seen by other motorists regardless what car lane we're in.
When I ride bike I only use the clutch for downshifting if there is a large change in rpms. If you're not on the throttle you should just be able to drop a gear. I wouldn't recommend dropping into 1st.

Does anybody notice any ticking noises coming from the engine? I have about 200 miles on it and hear a rattling/ticking noise coming from what sounds like the top of the engine. Its there at all times idling and while driving. Just don't know if it's normal or not.
Just wondering if you saw how to reset the speedo to get more accurate speed reading & also motorcycle are usually off by 10 percent.Im thinking real top speed is 60 to 65mph. I'm still breaking in mine TNT 135&have only got up to 55mph without trying to top out.
I did not calibrate the speedo and this was a fairly flat run. I am aware and I may have noted about it before. I was just never concerned about it, also my shift indicator just drops to N sometimes. That being said I have not experienced any mechanical issues and I still have the bike

I love bikes! I have a Kawasaki Eliminator 125, it is street legal but not legal for highways and interstates. I would only get a minimum of a 650cc motorcycle for the interstates, never a scooter for many reasons.
There are many 600cc street bike that can go well over 150mph. A r6 or any of it's major competition has more then enough power for any highway in the United States

People have alot of different opinions when it comes to break in. Some say drive like you're gonna drive, others 500 or 1000 miles. Although I personally believe it's more about heat cycles vs miles. Maybe just don't hang out in the high rpms for long periods in the beginning.
I was told to keep it under 6000 rpm for the first 600 miles and don't hold the throttle at the same position for long periods of time. Broke it in about 2 months ago and now I just rip

I think you might be referring to a dual sport bike. All major companies have a version of dual sport. I believe honda is crf and Kawasaki is klx. Just search dual sport along with your favorite brand and you should find what you are looking for.🤘

When I was assistant manager to visit multiple stores I used the z125. Efficient on gas and quick to get by store to store without traffic of course the most I got was about 67mph stock so I quickly modified it and put over 6000 miles! Also no tolls. But the tnt seems better since it has a 1.9 gallon tank is not much smaller than the tnt135.
You can buy this bike for 2600 bucks and it destroys the z125 in most category's including a better 5 speed transmission allowing about 10 more mph top speed and a longer wheel base allowing it to handle better. The z125 msrps at 3199 and was actually only under 3k when it came out in 2017, it you really want to say 2999 is under 3k which will be over 3k with a simple doc fee. It's not only cheaper than a z125 but ita a better bike. Not to mention of youre over 5'10" it's also a much more comfortable bike. So basically it's worth more than a z125 but no its not more expensive you're paying more for basically the Kawasaki name. I've got a local dealer that carries both bikes and the bennelli runs about 500 less. Now if you have seen a z125 under 3k in the last 2 months, you might want to remember that people havent exactly been moving a lot of inventory in he last few months and are wanting to move product. I cant say they arent being put on sale but they arent cheaper than a bennelli.

All kinds of reasons. They have 2.0l cars that put out 130-140hp and they have 2.0l cars that push over 300hp. That and gears, transmission, max rpm all have big effects on top speed
Everyone has different break in routines. The main idea is that after a few heat cycles a new engine changes shape Slightly and further seals itself shut. Heating it evenly will prevent the heads from changing shape before the block. Kinda like cooking, if you want things to heat evenly use lower heat and go slower. I would reccomend to do some research on "breaking in engines" if you're still unsure. This will allow you to make the best decision for your investment.
The gear indicator was faulty. The bike runs perfectly fine but every now and then it thinks it's in neutral. The dealership has the peice to fix it. It doesn't bother me though I'll just let them swap when I get inspected.
Those were my final 2 choices as well... I'm 6'2" and the handle bars hit my knees in a tight turn. I'm sure I could have adjusted them or went with aftermarket ones. I just felt like there was more room on the Benelli. So far I have had zero problems and I'm closing in on 3k miles.

Problem with Benelli top speed… the speedos are off by 10% from the factory. (Reads too high) . Reset the computer to get the correct speeds, and top speed is about 64 mph.
Italian engineering was the only con to the list. Italians are terrible at manufacturing and design (I know they are made in China and owned by a Chinese company which might actually help it) lol but they are great
Everything ive found online says its anything over 50cc is allowed on the highway. Not recommended tho.. For the few states who have stricter rules the minimum is 125 to 150 so this would still be fine but also not recommended.

I've been looking at one of these. 99% of my riding is in town. If I take it to work I'm on the interstate for 2.7 miles and it's all 65mph.
You want to have some room left.. you will be pinning this thing and still passed by the flow of traffic which is like +5 over limit

Do you still have to use the clutch when slowing down or is it automatic when going down the gear?

Time for a valve adjustment... some engines need the valve lash reset after break in

Everything ive found online says its anything over 50cc is allowed on the highway. Not recommended tho.. For the few states who have stricter rules the minimum is 125 to 150 so this would still be fine but also not recommended.
