Legend Ayinla Omowura, may Allah forgive all your shortcomings because in death you are still making people happy through your well researched albums. I'm proud to be an Egba man. Adieu Alhaji Costly.
Amazing composer and singer! No singer like Anigilaje, he is an amazing singer. If you listen properly, Ayinla Omowura has no equal. Even the beats? Wow!
charming composition of lyrics.OMOWURA-caustic,lacerating tongue at his best! i have repeatedly said this great singer was nigeria"s shakespeare in the history of yoruba recorded songs.-----It was widely scandalously rumoured he was abducted thus he debunked the fabricated lurid tale of kidnapping by churning out this great hugely classical evergreen album. what a stupendous gifted talent.
@yormeey TOO much inspirational lyrics!! Most yoruba people who still purblind to recognise Omowura"s musical legacy are cornucopia of educated illiterates afflicted with incurable inferiority complexes:they rather listens to half-baked,empty -brained 3 rates English songs by singers who doesnt even know where Africa continet is let alone Nigeria. God save us from unpatriotic yoruba-Nigerians suffering from untreatable glaucoma!!! Ayinla Omowura"s song lives on anyway.
Ayinla Omo Yesufu egunmogaji Hajji Costly you're simple the best of the best of Apala music, the very day you gone on the 25th of May 1980 you took the brilliant Apala music with you but your voice and legecy remain with we your music lover and your memory live with us and forever . Rip Alhaji waidi Ayinla omowura ( Omo Itoko, Abeokuta Egbaland) Ogun state Nigeria
@MassT82 well you have said it all. Ayinla's music is definitely one of the very best of Nigeria, Africa and indeed world's musicians. Imagine Ayinla Omowura being British or American. No doubt he would be called "The god of Music". Ayinla deserves recognition but unfortunate many Nigerians haven't discover is brilliance. I have sent you an article forwarded to me by @EgbaAleke.

Lagido means Monkey . He uses egba dialect a lot in his song, the Egbas (Abeokuta) Call Monkey Lagido, but the all other Yoruba people call it OBO
Odulade adekola
Adimou alou
