Alihaj Ayinla Omowura was the best yoruba musician ever known. As a yoruba born man myself, anytime I turned to his music, l truly enjoyed the beating and the real time yoruba songs. His songs always bring me closer to home. May his soul rest in peace.
Ayinla omowura refuting the character assassination spreading rumour that he had been kidnapped. --a truly megastar. Compositions of words of lyrics is sheer first class.---dictums,aphorisms.parables,witticims and countless words of wisdoms and knowledges. you are naturally familiar with this enchanting classic from Ayinla like the rendition of Nigeria national anthem!!!
Eno ro bi simi Ibi aba, Iya yin ni won ma a jigbe- When Ayinla sings, ur expected end of a lyric is actually the beginning of Ayinla Omowura. Eyin Arabi edeyin leyin mi ooo,.... this lyric alone lasted for 64 seconds (1:58 - 3:02). Ayinla was an asset.
God bless you for posting this classic Ayinla Omowura record. More grease to your elbow. Ayinla was clearly one of Nigeria's musical legends. Is there you has got volumes 6 and 9 of this man's records? I would be glad if someone can post these records, not only for our generation's pleasure but also for posterity.
Subtle and simple refustation to being kidnapped. This guy needs to be given a big posthumous award. I say again, Ayinla would have been immortalised if he was an English speaking or English single musician. Gor me, he is on this level as the likes of Shakespare, Michael Jackson, Wole Shoyinka, Sunny Ade, etc. And guess, he achieved all of this by the age of 42ish? Just imagibe what he could have done he lived longer?
0:37 Eru eleru lon gbe kari..won fa ti won l'owo genge!!! (Busy body..Carefully balancing other people's burden on his own head whilst carelessly grabbing his own burden by the handle in his hand!)

The man playing the shekere is an ace in his own right. His beats are so mesmerising, it's incredible.
