    What do you think about recent update of DaVinci Resolve 18.5? Do you do mostly Color, Edit or composure in Resolve?

    It is definitely a Blockbuster Update. They have been listening to their users and have delivered. It is only to get better and better.

      I am really surprised that this is the company which listens to it's users. Would be also great to have ProRes render for Windows... But I know it's licensing issue

    Thus far the only video that actually went great lengths to show how these features work.

      Yeah I know it is a little bit later than other youtubers did the video, but I like to go in depth and understand and showcase how it works. I just want every person who watches the video leave with some useful knowledge and not waste their time

    Relight look nice in a static exemple but I would like to see it in motion. I wonder if the tricks realy work that well.

      Hm didn't have time to test during the recording of the video. But when I tested it there was some consistency in video. I think I can record short about how it works if you are interested

    Davinci Resolve offers audio ducking, would be nice if you would use that soon in your next Video. Otherwise great video.

    • @postprocessed
      @postprocessed  Год назад

      Thanks for feedback! Oh yeah I tried audio ducking when it was just released, but it was very weird when I made pauses in speech, which resulted in not a very pleasant result constantly upping music when speech paused or I take a breath. Maybe now it is possible to set up a delay for it. Gonna check it out for upcoming videos! Cheers!

    Your background audio should be kept there.
    Not competing with your narration

    • @postprocessed
      @postprocessed  Год назад

      Got ya! Wasn't sure how to find proper balance, as in my headphones speech sounds good. On iPhone too. But on PC speakers yes, it feels like they are competing. Well, anyway it's better to hear the narration than background, so you're right!

    • @Bryster51
      @Bryster51 Год назад +1

      @@postprocessed Review it after YT uploading, but before publishing, YT can play with it if background in on seperate audio track.
      Do some study on levels, then merge both into same stereo track...YT cant mess with it as much

    • @postprocessed
      @postprocessed  Год назад +2

      @@Bryster51 I usually don't work on sound at all, but sure need to do some study to improve the quality. Thanks for tip to check after upload!

      It's a process - understanding the various extrapolation. Good info, and just a little tweaking. You got this.
