wtf?! this sure is one of the few actually good automotive cinematics that builds up the tension with all the sfx.

sound design is nuts
The sound design is CRAZY! So crazy that the video was about a front engined V8 Porsche! Jokes aside though this is insane, I'd love to be able to create something like this
Sound Designer really deserves some major props here. Not that the visuals aren't amazing. They are, but that sound design just really brings it home. Excellent work on all fronts.

@@ElChapoDel8 As a sound designer, I can say that guy who worked on this was going for the feeling of power and energy instead of realism. Like, clutch doesn't sound like that at all. But if he made sounds super realistic than video wouldn't be so exciting to watch.
The second reason why he decided to use a lot of different engines is because it's super hard to find good and usable recording of different cars and engines. Big film companies simply order a pack of new specific recordings for movies, while indie level people buy sound libraries which are very limited.
I've rarely had goose bump because of a SFX work. bravo !

Amazing visuals! Gotta say it looks fantastic. SFX is taken from a Pennzoil ad but it's fine no one cares really (more like no one knows). The sound of an 8.4L V10 found in the Viper ACR coming from a Porsche is kinda bonkers

Well Done , i can appreciate the effort you have done with the smaller details that play a big role. Try caputring certain parts again - This time try reduce shake of cameras aka think of GoPros with stabilization or higher end cams that will reduce shake that way you get a cleaner cinematic look as to currently its more like a action shake look(keep with other words the view stable but make exhaust or bodyparts/wings etc shake to show the amount of windforce and sheer power. Well Done none the less great effort.

This is amazing! I have been trying to rig models from sketchfab into unreal engine, but in vain. I have no idea how I can make those work in UE5. Any ideas on how one can do that? I want to be able to animate the car within UE5. Any help would be much appreciated! p.s. I do not know how to use Blender

How did you get the audio so perfectly? Did you live record it? Or is there any apps to create sound like that?
To make video sound like this you would need pro-level sound designer and good amount of time) For a pro-level sound designer this could take anything from 1 day to 3 days. It depends on many factors. If he has a lot of good pre-made sounds than it can take 1-2 days. If he has only source material, like car recordings, mechanical noises etc than he might need some extra days. If he has nothing, than it can take a loooooot longer, because making a good recording of cars is a very difficult, time and budget consuming task. Also, it's very hard to organize.
Some of it sounds like the ones in the penzoil viper commercial
@@logicalapple_3274 It can be, that proves my point even further. They could use the same sound libraries. Similar sounds can be heard in latest NFS games as well.
@@cycleproduction3527 I know those sounds very well, he just used the sounds from the penzoil viper commercial and a ferrari video Soundwise he didnt make an effort. They are incredible sounds but once you see everyone using the exact same sounds on all their videos it loses the magic. If he used the library (which he didn't) would be nice and impressive, but as I said he just grabbed the sounds from the video, I know them like the palm of my hand because I worked with some of them in the past, but I don't use them raw like he did, he didnt layer any sounds at all (I'm a video editor and I do a lot of sound design). You are right with all you say, it takes a lot of time, sometimes I have 10-20 sounds playing at same time, but this video isn't the case, he just used the sound as it is, 1 layer, he did not modified or layered them with any other sounds to make it unique. (I'm not saying the video is bad, visually is amazing, but theres no sound design in it at all) Have a great day and sorry for my broken english

The visuals are so good! The only thing bas about this is the audio which did not fit at all.. it went from flat 6 to v10 to v8 to who knows what within the span of 3 or 4 seconds 😂

well, interior shots and most of the sound design is stolen from pennzoil ads, and the shots themselves are heavily inspired by them as well, but apart from that, rendering looks good
Fair but the editing, compositions, sound design in regard to the shots. It's all extremely impressive. I would pay 10s of thousands for something like this if I was Porsche.
