Thanks, very informative for me. I have a small 2700 psi pressure washer. After a long period of time i go to use it & water will not come thru the pump. Do i need another head?
So for the brass seals, when do you know when to replace them? When it is worn smooth? I noticed it has diamond like etchings, like a wear make. Alder ones look more smooth
I have a new home owner model that is 3000psi 2.5gpm and the second time i used it it pressurized for 10 seconds then stopped. The motor still runs and i made sure never to let it run more than a few seconds without pulling the trigger to keep the pump cool. Any ideas why the pump is not coming on? I already checked the unloader valve and it is not stuck. I am at a loss.
"...Compresses the water"? You don't know what you're talking about. Liquids cannot be compressed except for just a tiny, unnoticeable bit with some exceptionally strong equipment!
Excellent video, thank you for helping me prepare for a new line of work 👍
Happy to help!, were are you based ?

There's no packing around the plungers? Like seal kits?
what type
of oil do you use in the water pump and is there gear oil on the gx390???
SAE30 non detergent oil, Very important its a non detergent oil
if the sahft of the pump is driven on the opossite direction. It will still produce pressure?
yes the pump does not care which way it spins, it will build the same pressure regardless which way it is spun
How many hours on that pump before it failed?
How many hours do they last before you replace
we average around 3500 hours out of a honda GX390
Hello brother can you tell me please how long can run pressure washers continuously and also tell me how much life span of pressure washers
there is no limit on how long you can run the pressure washer as long as its got a constant water feed
When I put load on my pressure washer the crank won't turn.

Might explain the bent connecting rod...
