I think the biggest thing that pushes me away is the art style. It's not a bad style, just doesn't fit with Elder Scrolls in my opinion. Doesn't even look like Elder Scrolls. The dynasty stuff is a cool feature though.
@@Nickstalgic both gameplay and marketing. But it's a good overall Fallout Shelter clone. Ill probably try it out anyways. Thanks for the great video, keep it up man!
I was having issues with how the game was overheating my phone, until I noticed that there was a battery saver and quality settings. My phone stopped heating up after that. I’d rather sacrifice quality for a better gameplay, especially when the game art style is already silly and nonserious . I enjoy the game and if you’re a FOS fan, this game is a better and upgraded version of that, and I highly recommend it
I agree that the whole dynasty and having kids part is the most innovative feature, but after a while I kinda craved more depth to the system. So I reinstalled Crusader Kings 3 haha
I don't get the negativity around this game. I played it since it came out, and it is a nice litlle spin on Shelter, I really enjoy this slower paced gameplay with the deepend character micromanagment. If I have toname something that botheres me is that we can't buil new mills and stuff after we build the first. But it's more likely just a personal thing from me, not an objective critisism. So really I don't get the hate.
@@zetenyvarga7428 I mean to be fair you are doubling your output of it and I see it more as that's what they would've originally cost and they just gave you the first for free typa thing yk
Geez. Nowadays when i think of game designers i automatically start to think of beggars ._. Do you has a coin? I'm poor. I need a coin... Just a more aggressive version of beggars that try to force you to give a coin...
Definitely a battery drain. There is an option in settings for optimizing battery performance in the game but haven't really tried it out yet. My two biggest complaints on the game are the combat system and general pacing. For combat, placement and targeting can be critical and the whole temporary time-slow is not enough. The targeting is so spotty and hard to get, especially with enemy clusters that it's frustrating and I often miss intended target wasting a good 3-4 seconds just trying to target the right enemy. An easy fix for this I feel would be to remove the time-slow and just go with a pause function. Also, is it just me or does the general attack/defense stats feel wonky and inconsistent? As for the pacing, I feel like I started really quickly and was getting new things and keeping steady flow going, but then hit this major road block where it all just became sluggish (even more so than Fallout Shelter's travel mechanic). Upgraded resources take longer to make and in-turn make upgrading equipment for workers/questing take longer. This wouldn't be as bad I feel if it weren't for the games Order system that seems to put highest level items being needed for orders once you are capable of making them. And since gold is needed for both upgrading utilities and decrees, having to focus on making 10 new highest tier items to sell for gold instead of using them is expensive both material and time wise. All of which making what feels like a vicious cycle discouraging and hampering level advancement. Still, an enjoyable game in most aspects outside this.
I agree with this. At this point I basically have everything in the game so like there shouldn't be any point continuing but I don't stop because its like I don't want to lose progress kinda thing...its weird
same here, it gets hot on my iphone 12 lol. Anyway I enjoy it alot but yeah I hate those pop-ups asking to buy stuff. What do you think about the fact that characters from different eras show up in this game though? Do you just ignore it? It kinda bothered me at first but then eh whatever its just a mobile game
Argh, this game is so difficult! I've had Elder Scrolls Castle for about 10 days and the children are really starting to outweigh the people working. .💀 So annoying! Then the eclipse hit. But the game says "You can't banish kids" Whom else am I suppose to sacrifice to save us all??? My beloved catgirl???
Over time hopefully it gets more content added. At least it's getting events constantly. I find it fun enough for a mobile game. Would be great for shelter to get the overseer mechanics
I think the game is alright. But I hate how they abandon the story. Who the heck actually ordered the hit on King Odar? It is annoying how they introduce a crazy storyline like that and just abandon it.

Huh honestly I never thought of that as well. Is it like the art style of the marketing or like it actually in game?
@@Nickstalgic both gameplay and marketing. But it's a good overall Fallout Shelter clone. Ill probably try it out anyways. Thanks for the great video, keep it up man!
That's exactly what I thought
What are those Mii characters xD Straight out of Wii :D
That’s so funny and true

Completely agree with this! I actually found those settings shortly after the video was uploaded helps greatly

Totally it can only keep my intention so much

I get that I just wished it wasn’t just an improved fallout shelter you know? Like I like the additions but I wanted something a little different
You can actually build new mills and such it just costs wayyy more, first ones free typa thing
@@Nickstalgic yeah I see your point
@@XxMr_eggxX I figured, but wtf are those prices? Little bit crazy to me

Of course it was an argonian assassin that kicks off this whole thing 🤣🤣
It’s always them

I have an Android 23 Ultra and this game burns my fingers after ten minutes.
Right?!?

I feel like I'm the only person that likes this game
I like it I just don’t love it ya know
I adore it, playing it every day

My beloved catgirl???
There is a low power mode in the game’s settings
You rock I didn’t know that
Thanks I tried to play and gave up lol
😂not a fan of TES shelter??
I don't see what the issue is with it, just a fallout shelter clone but with an elder scrolls spin and tons of grinding
There’s nothing wrong with it as long as you like fallout shelter lol
I didn't hate the game, it's just like Fallout Shelter but with a little more content.
Totally agree it’s a better fallout shelter
It's like fallout shelter but alot less content.

lol it took me so long to realize that we well never get that answer
the only thing i hate about this game is that i cant tell which gender the characters are if they are not human
Omg yes! I have that exact issue I have to look at there gender every time. It’s even worse that some outfits adds like beards
