I can't get over all the cool rocks! I would get so distracted! It does look like a good claim. I would have tried everywhere you did too. It's definitely there..somewhere! 😊
Ha! Looks like all the training is paying off now thats funny and exactly what we need an army of them to do all our digging for us! Was up in Red River last weekend for a quick trip. Found alot of micro but not nuggets!
You might want to classify the material you’re putting in your little sluice, it’ll make it easier & you’ll be able to run more through it. I’d also try sampling around those big rocks in your creek, and look around for any bedrock too. The stuff you panned higher up on your claim, looked like an old tailings pile. Try crushing a small amount of the rock & pan it to see if carries gold, or send some in for an assay. Finally, if possible, find a geologist who will come out & look your claim over, he/she could probably help save you a lot of time & lost labor.
