Cheers for this Neil, great to see the early Omd, prefared their sound back then using the Analogue gear, saw them again two years ago, it just wasn't the same with their lap tops and Roland workstation digital keyboards, was too clinically clean sounding,

I wish they would release some of the early live gigs on CD/ vinyl..

Some of the songs from that first album sound so much better live - so much energy and resonance that wasn't captured in the recorded album...a similar sort of energy to punk but on synths. Mal on drums really helps add power to the sound.

Hi Neil , I`d seen this uploaded through the FB link , I recorded this broadcast (as audio) and had it on cassette . I uploaded it to Dime (as a torrent) as I recall (along with another show from 23/11/80 - my notes don`t say where) , anyway I found the CD I burnt them to - would you like the WAVs of the Rockstage ? I`m downloading the video and will try to sync them together but it`s a long time since I did that .
