- C&O Trattoria is an Italian restaurant in Venice Beach that gives out free and endless garlic rolls. The restaurant bakes them fresh all day long, averaging about 10,000 garlic rolls a day. We went inside the kitchen to see how it's made and taste these legendary rolls for ourselves.

I went here years ago. The garlic knots are truly amazing. Its 90% of what I ate and they just keep coming.

I went here this summer, and I didn’t even realize or remember until I sat down and had some as an appetizer. I went crazy because I finally got to going to a restaurant in one of these videos. They were so good and warm, such a good memory to remember :’-)

I moved to Venice back in 1993 and always took my company dinners and out of town guest here. Everyone loves it, I live in Texas now and truly miss this place.

THE BEST. the reason i always go to C&O's any time im in california. LOVE THOSE GARLIC ROLLS. i've introduced a few people too, and always try to go around the time they sing.

Without the garlic and oil on top, the bread straight out of the oven actually resembles a cream puff like shape. It has a flat bottom, nice little peak on top and it's very rounded

Shark For a video like this, it actually doesn’t really matter. Everybody has a sense of smell and taste. This isn’t s super fancy restaurant and it’s not a focus in the culinary world. It’s just a restaurant that serves free garlic bread knots as a tradition and having a kind of host like this with more expression is actually more fun than having a host with a lot of culinary knowledge. For videos comparing foods/restaurants or tasting at high-end restaurants I would agree with you. However, this isn’t that type of video. This is just a video made for fun showcasing an awesome tradition at a restaurant.

Those are really good. Been going for over 20 years. The location closer to Lincoln is not as busy and just as good. Less than a mile apart.
