Mint cocoa ice cream is my favorite I remember when I used to live in a certain place and my mama and I went to the farmers market, that happened only once a month, and going to the gelato stand and getting the mint cocoa 😔😔 that gelato and sharing it with my mama were my favorite during those upsetting times. So I heard the gelato guy closed down his business so if he happens to see this.

I guess the eating is only part of the job. There's pre and post-production for each of these food videos. But I guess it's a lot better than a desk job.

If you love writing scripts to feature something interesting to be aired on TV or to be uploaded on Social Media this is a great job, it's just exhausting from pre-production to post-production.

It's not about flavor, a lot has to do with preparation. But the flavors served hear are so wildly different they can't really be compared.

I was on a mission to try tacos and ice cream. Boy, I forget what a nightmare it is to drive around LA. The taco run went horribly wrong, so I was left with ice cream. I made the trek to Mashti Malone for some exotic Persian ice cream. It's in a little Hollywood mall off Sunset in a very urban environment. At least there was parking. Due to COVID, there's no eating inside, bring a mask with you. The seating is outside in some makeshift patio with a view of the parking lot. They had three tables in the patio and one on the curb. I tried the saffron with pistachio. There's a unique taste to it. It doesn't leave that sugary aftertaste that ice cream generally leaves but at the same time it wasn't out of this world good. I didn't see skyrockets (YMMV), maybe I was biased by a horrible day in LA, but I would say, lower your expectations if you decide to visit it.

I tried Mashti Malone when I was in the area. Only got to try it once but really dug the unique Iranian flavors.
I love anything with lavender, saffron, rosewater, etc.
Used to live in Hollywood and when I was pregnant with my first child, my husband and I stumbled on the Mashti Malone ice cream shop...it was heavenly! Chocolate ice cream is out of this world...now I'm pregnant with my third baby and just recently I remembered and started craving that ice cream...after watching this, I'm definitely going to Mashti shop to get that delishesness!!!🍦🍧🍦🍨

Fosselman’s is in my neck of the woods! I volunteered with Mary Fosselman up until the pandemic hit the world! My favorite ice cream parlor is Salt and Straw, also in my neck of the woods!! Wanderlust is out here too!! Love the cactus 🌵 ice cream!!🍨

That saffron pistachio rose water ice cream looked so good, unfortunately I have a weird gene that makes saffron taste like metal. Kinda like the gene that makes coriander taste like soap for some people.

Haven’t been to any, but judging by the photos and such, I’d choose Wanderlust Creamery or Fosselman’s
- Wanderlust makes unique, creative, and yummy flavors! It sounds YUMMY!
- Fosselman’s texture and incorporated toppings looked AMAZING. Plus, they have the good old-fashioned favorites!
Mashti Malone’s didn’t sound or look the greatest to me, but maybe it tastes much better than it was described as!
