Absolutely useless to new users! Stop wasting users time

Time to make an update video, none of this information applies anymore. Apple wants to force users into paying for cloud services, and has forced incompatible software on us that no longer reads sd cards.

I have an older version of the iPad Mini that doesn't support the latest iOS updates. Moreover, my iPad doesn't recognize the SD card reader (although it functions properly when tested on another device). Do you think it's a good idea for me to invest in a USB flash drive and its reader to ensure I can access and open files seamlessly?

Hi there, thank you for your question! I would recommend trying to use cloud storage to address your issue as if the card reader works on other devices you can upload the data to the cloud and then access them from your ipad saving you on any additional costs.

@@RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware I'd rather not use my old iPad for storing everything in one place anymore. It's slow and can't handle big files well. I'm keeping it clean and simple. But I still want to use it just for watching movies or videos. That's why I prefer storing any information on a flash drive and simply opening files as needed.

I have 3 micro sd cards two of them showed up in my files on my iPhone 13 and one won’t show , but it would show on my iPhone 8! What could be the problem? ( I used it on my iPhone 13 Pro as well and it still didn’t show up in the files )

Hi there, thank you for your question! Have you checked recently if the SD card still shows up on your old device? I would recommend making sure all the connection on the SD cards are clean and nothing is interfering with it. Make sure the SD card is in the correct format as well and maybe try using a different device to take the files of the SD and try transferring them to a different one.

@@RecoveritDataRecoverySoftwarehe’s right this video is worthless, the issues is apple discontinued software that reads sd and micro sd cards starting with the update of iOS 16, iOS 17 is also not supported only pre iOS 16 software supports reading sd cards.

@@obsequious_obsolescence You, Sir are wrong. 5 minutes ago I was having this issue on iOS 17. I inserted the SD card into my Windows 11 PC and formatted the card to exFAT and reinserted it into my phone and it works great. Transferring photos now.

There’s nothing wrong with my sd cards, as they read ok in my windows laptop.
The whole problem lies with Apple doing updates that make my lightning sd readers useless
Apple simply ignore the problem. I went along to my local Apple Store and they couldn’t understand it either. They even tested a brand new sd card holder and that didn’t work either.
Are Apple trying to make us go back to Android devices ?
