I just realized that the development with Lu Bu and Diaochan is practically reverse. Diaochan simply desires to live the life that her father desired for her while Lu Bu is the one who is attached to her after realizing that there is more to life than just battle. I didn’t realize how deep the characterizations of the Others faction were.
Diaochan had a decent level of depth during her musou mode in Dynasty Warriors 6, although, I suppose she does need more character than merely reacting to Lu Bu. Also, jeez, I forgot how much people hated her in this stage, they all want her dead! As for Zhang Liao, well... such is the fate of one who lives in these times.
>Diao Chan even kills Zhang Liao on her way out. Surely he did not deserve this Also awww they didn't play Lu Bu's theme when you encounter him Would have been nice climactic fight Also Earth DOES end outside 5th gate Lu Bu was right all this time
in all honesty. i feel like dynasty warriors 3 xtreme legends is the only game that gives diao chan a depth of character. not like all lovey dovey with lubu. despite this being fiction it really gives diao chan a suit of her own character. not lubu meeky lover.
@magicwandstudio314 While I think her story is fine in 6, it also set the trend for Diaochan to be no more than Lu Bu's lover. I don't think this romance works for me since it was built upon nothing but deceit. 6 does acknowledge the deception, but I don't think the resolution is fitting since they didn't establish any sparks of sincerity in their relationship beforehand. DW3's ending for her is incredibly fitting for both being bittersweet, but also determined and hopeful. Lu Bu, for all his faults, is sincere in his love for Diaochan. In a better world, she would have rejected him. But circumstances demands that she must use his love for her to serve a greater good. Diaochan is chained by duty, and Lu Bu is chained by love. But now that her duty is fulfilled, Diaochan wishes to lead a life of freedom and find her own happiness. The DW3 ending worked so well for me because it is the only time Diaochan had ever treated Lu Bu with sincerity, and in doing so, she sets both of them free.
6:14 Lu Meng sounds less like he's just been killed and more like he's just discovered that someone's put a lump of butter in his shoe.
😂
That is hilarious 😆

It's like he said. Such is the fate who lives in these time. Time is singular cause it sounded like he said it like that. XD

Yes I want Diaochan to free from Lu Bu.. she is a hero too because of her the corrupt Dong Zhuo is dead.
i think her dw6 story mode is not bad

@@resm-oe9jiI love your take... Dw 3 is also my favorite story of hers.. followed by dw6 and then dw5
@@resm-oe9jiwhat do you think of her dw9 story?
Her follow up to the anime jump attack is so satisfying.
You could also get Diao Chan's 5th weapon here by defeating Lu Bu.
I had forgotten how hilariously bad the voice acting in this game was bug at least it's funny and still exponentially better than DW9's voice acting.
zhang he's voice is perfect in this game to be fair
DW3 XL - Chapter 7 (Finale): Diao Chan's Escape
Diaochan need freedom choice.. I hate they made her to like Lu Bu but actually not, she is free from Lu Bu..
