The mall goth scene here in Asheville, NC is really the only reason I go to the mall anymore. I married one and gave her a baby. Best decision I ever made.

I go outside and people stop me to comment how similar I look and act to this character. I chuckle softly as I'm assured everyday this character is me in every way. I can smile each time I get out of bed every morning knowing that I've found my identity with this character and I know my place in this world. It's really quite funny how similar this character is to me, it's almost like we're identical twins. When I first saw this character, I had an existential crisis. What if this character was the real me and I was the fictional being. What if this character actual became aware of my existence? Did this character have the ability to become self aware itself?

Difference between goths, scene kids, emos and punks. Goths will chase you ironically, punks will chase you to kill you,scene kids will be too zooted off the Molly to chase you, and emos will stand depressingly
I personally never had a goth/emo/scene phase, growing up. Too sickly to do much, in general. I *did* briefly go rap phase and Rastafarian-phase, though, when I got into better health. Each of those only lasted a couple months, back-to-back. But I found my true calling in praising the striking blows of the hammer of the gods smashing into the anvil of time, forging my heart into a better person than I really was expected to be, all things considered. I DID date a few goths, though. Not all at once, of course. Over time.

Personally I think they're appropriating millenial culture and zoomer mall goths should be forced to refer to nu-metal as ol-metal.
