This is a treat as the poster chose to simply show the video, without narration. Most have the poster acting stupid and they have to be seen talking like an idiot. Thanks again its a great video.
It's been over 20 years since I last played this, but I have no recollection of Kefka's original head appearing in his god-form hand in a move/death animation. Was that common?
It's possible to buffer having characters run away in between the last enemy dying and the battle ending. Since characters can only run away when their ATB bar is full, having Terra kill the last enemy (which empties her ATB bar) guarantees that she won't run away & Biggs/Wedge will.
Another thing that is effective against the Reach Frogs in the World of Ruin would be the Atom Edge magic from Odin's main Magicite spell. You can find that in the underground castle when Figaro castle buries itself and travels. I've tried it on Cyan and it works! Also, Celes can get the Meteor spell early from the magicite instead of going all the way to level 98.
Hey nerds, so I just got a fat pack of roms and included are about 30 versions of this, what’s the best one to give a fresh long play virgin run through with? As far as priorities; audio, translation, bug fixes. Just trying to get baked af and immersed.
It's hard to find and very rare, but rumor has it there's a site called "google" where you can search for it. You need to know the secret search phrase, however, which is "ff6 rom". It's very tricky and extremely complicated, but you can do it if you try. Good luck!
I'm playing through all the Final Fantasy games and this one was such a drastic drop in quality from the 5 leading up to it. From its on-the-rails story to its utter inability to customize the characters it's the black sheep of the series. Kudos for having the patience to even finish it.
@@WesleyWyndam-PryceWe probably play for different reasons, I like being able to customize characters and go off and do my thing and this game doesn't let you do either of those things. Final Fantasy II for GBA is my favorite, you can teach any character to do anything.
@@xandrorThis is by far my favorite. With that said, V should be among your favorite... Or the Tactics (Original Tactics, or Tactics Ogre which wasn't a Square Enix title, just Enix, would be there for you. I play games for their story lines. (Which is another reason FFT was such an AMAZING find for me) Quality of the story seemed to drop after 10, it was even rough between 6 and 10 sometimes. But to each their own. Cheers!
Oh yeah, 4 had no customization either. 5 was an anomaly when it came to the SNES/Super FamiCom final fantasy games. Jobs didn't really come back until... 12? Except on the Gameboy and in the Tactics titles.
I love your speedruns. To be 100% perfect you would have to earn rages from Gau, all the Lords of Strago, and in the World of Ruin defeat the MagiMaster, defeat Hidon, learn strong magics such as level 3 spells, Pearl, Flare, Meteor , Merton, Ultima, and in Kefka's Tower grab all the chests and defeat Atma. This way, not only would it be 100% complete, but it would also be more complete. It would be nice if your next Final Fantasy VI speedrun did it like that. When will you do one again? I hope it is soon. Greetings friend.
Late reply, but "100%" in FF6 speedruns doesn't literally mean "learn every move", it means the lighter category of "all 14 characters and all 26 espers by the end of the game". In FF7, on the other hand, 100% is defined as literally grinding every Limit Break as well as bosses, characters and Materia.
actually VERY GOOD GAME it has problems with defense and evade doing absolutely nothing and transcript problems but if you level 99 you can not worry about getting the right armor.
Dude, you were so underleved during the game. Props for exploits and knowing game mechanics in and out.
FF6 is my all time favorite game, thanks for running it!

This guy does both.
That death metal chocobo save file
ALL HAIL THE DEMON CHOCOBO

Yeah, it happens everytime he uses the Goner/Forsaken attack
I watched your gdq run and it was phenomenal. Im not a huge fan of the pixel remaster, but id be skeptically interested to see a full remake.

One of my favorite games ever.
I guess I'm pretty randomly asking but do anyone know of a good site to stream newly released series online ?
@Aiden William Flixportal xD
@Kevin Finnegan Thanks, signed up and it seems to work :D I really appreciate it !!
@Aiden William No problem :D
I wonder how you can run from battles while riding the raft :P
Float away from them.

Thx for running I love this game :D

@@puwexil yes I noticed that later in the game, during an action they don't escape

And how is "L" faring?
The dislikes are from Biggs and Wedge
Who are them?

Ted Woolsey Uncensored? Depending on how the patch was applied it also fixes some bugs from the original japanese release
@@nelisezpasce hey thanks a ton been great to me so far.

It's a world where everyone has a one letter name, and several people are 'S'.
Yet they know precisely which S you're talking about.
Yeah. In Chinese, people like to use the same sound, but with a little of difference

Trolling huh? This is by far the best of the series. Props to 4, 5, 7, 9 and 10, but they have nothing over 6.

They gotta modernize this game!!! As they did with FF7.
It would be amazing
