This channel is obsessed with Elon Musk.
And I love it
It’s unbelievable that he has simultaneously made Tesla and Spacex succeed at the same time…if he only led one of them, it would make him the industrialist of this era as the automotive and space launch industries are as hard as it gets. But to do both industries will likely be under appreciated even in this lifetime as it is beyond my scale imaginable.
His ruthless competitors are the Chinese Govt launch industry, the Russian Govt launch industry, the European launch industry, Toyota, VW, Ford, GM, the Oil and Gas industry, the Power utilities, the paid advertising Media, etc…his success should not be happening.
You forgot the entire military-industrial complex, SpaceX also beat Boeing, Lockheed, Northrop. And in both Tesla and SpaceX's case, he didn't just beat all of those established companies, but also opened the doors for a lot of knew companies to those markets, companies that wouldn't exist without SpaceX or Tesla. Rocket Lab, Alpha, Firefly, Relativity, none of them would've gotten a single cent of funding before SpaceX's success. The same goes for the dozens of EV startups. Also, in the case of Tesla, competed and won in self driving against giants like Google. All with less than 100 million dollars of initial capital, and in less than 20 years. The Falcon was basically enough to drive everyone else out of business, and everybody else is years away from having anything that can compete with it, so since nobody else was doing it, SpaceX decided to compete with itself, and kill Falcon with Starship. It really is unimaginable.
Just what this companies have done up to this point would make him the industrialist of the era. If he achieves Mars (and I think he will), well, that would literally be the most significant event in human history since 1492.
People don't realise this. Many of them would regret only after he dies.

@@emon5434 because he is anti-Union, works his employees to the bone, and pushes unproven and arguably unsafe technology. He has done great things, but also is far from a saint.

One of them, I love how Newsthink talk and quote controversial moments, and critical topics with no hungry for exageration, all news in the world should be like that.
The more I hear about him the more blown away I am.
To be fair , he has a vision about tesla like how jobs had a vision about apple. Elon is basically the person that approves most of the insane things going on in tesla, you need a engineering mind and drive to be the best. Musk is why tesla succeeded and why space X became what it is. He is a visionary.

You only say that because her content is targeted at the general audience, and not to a specific niche audience.
It is unfair to compare her content to Everyday Astronaut who cater specifically to space science enthusiasts, or to Munro who caters to car enthusiasts. Compared those creators whose contents goes deep into the details of a subject matter, of course Sydney's content would appear superficial as she only covers only the basics. The channel provide basic but accurate idea of what Elon is trying to do a that a person without any background knowledge of EV and rocket science can still grasp why these tech are groundbreaking.
