A bygone era. With the new rule, catches will go back to being how they were before this one and the Calvin Johnson one. They'll be more lenient. If it "looks" like a catch (two feet, one knee, not letting it touch the ground), they'll let it stand. So hopefully we'll see less controversy from now on....the only thing I'm certain of was that those were some bad ass looking cleats Dez had on during that play. :)

DJ SHUFFL3R OFFICIAL ehh I’m a Green Bay fan and he’s my favorite player of all time, but that might be a stretch. He only has 1 SB ring, and he’s getting old. So greatest of all time is sorta of arguable
DJ SHUFFL3R OFFICIAL where’s Rodgers’ other 5 rings? Talk to TB12 mate
Lobot Brady is a know cheater
I think that Adams kid is gonna turn out huge :D
Ya he’s got some potential
@@steveinabugatti8231 just a bit
Naw he'll never amount to much....
No matter what the outcome would have been in this game, that was one of the worst calls in all of football. The ref was right there. He had perfect position. He caught the ball, moved the ball to his left side and stretched for the end zone.
The ball came out of his position as he came down, refs had it right
@@carterplaysmc2738 Elbow hit the ground before the ball came out with full possession of the ball. Worst call I’m sports
@@cademerka7863 my man you gotta control the ball the whole way through the catch it doesn’t matter that his elbow hit even now if a receiver makes a side like catch and is out of bounce but doesn’t control it all the way through it’s incomplete
If Dez just tucked the ball into him as he was going down, this isn't even an issue. The rule is to maintain control. The ball is not supposed to move when you are on the ground. Dez' stupid ass decides to reach for the goal line instead of making sure he caught it.
@@EdmacZ This. I can understand the attempt to try and break the plane but when the game is on the line, a receiver should tuck *first*.
Randall Cobb showed Dez how you actually catch the ball on that last 3rd down.
Cobb’s catch didn’t require him going vertical on a 50/50 ball so there’s really no comparison
Tf that’s nothing close to what dez Bryant had to catch lol
Dez was near the End zone and trying to score with the ball he already caught.
I see Cowboys fans are still salty almost a decade later
@@marcasieberYou shouldn’t have said what you said
even if it was a catch, PACKERS STILL WOULD HAD WON IT. packers offense was on fire.
Too bad you cheese fucks choked in Seattle lol
larrywize 5 too bad you cowgirl fucks weren’t even there lol.
larrywize 5 cowboys haven’t won shit since the 90’s...
larrywize 5 enjoy another offseason, cowgirls. Y’all haven’t won anything since the 90s😆😆😆
Wtf dude. Ol you act like Dallas wasn’t right there with them. Y’all could barely stop their offense. Nobody know what would’ve happened in that game if it was ruled a catch. A Green Bay fan up top said he hates to see a Cowboys fan say they would of won if Dez’s ball was ruled a catch. That’s some hypocritical bullshit smh.
Lang and baktari at 4:45 is beautiful lol
Who else watches these just cause you want to see jordy Nelson randle cobb and clay Mathews
Uhhh... not me.
If you look at the overhead camera the ball touched the ground therefore it’s not a catch
As a cowboys fan. I was pretty disappointed about this game. But after Green Bay lost the next week I felt better.
I feel great that the 🐄 boys haven't won a superbowl in 26 years now and in those 26 years have 11 playoff losses. I hope Jerry Jones continues playing GM and HC for many more years. 😂😂😂
I felt great when we whopped your ass this year
Boy if Murray didnt fumble that, they might have prevented GB from making that FG and if Bailey made his...this wouldve been a lot different. This was a sad loss, but the defense wasnt anything like it is now.
Facts
Unfortunately this was the end for Tony Romo. Got hurt early in 2015 and never got his job back
2016 preseason by Cliff Avril
this wasn’t just dez fault it was also romo for not reading the play he had cole beasley on the inside slant which could have been a first and they had enough time to get a touchdown
7:13 that waz a hell of a throw, god damn
i still think about it
That was a CATCH. I Don’t care what NOBODY says Dez did the EXACT same thing against the Giants
It was incomplete the ball came out when he hit the ground remember the Calvin Johnson catch?
Dez Bryant did catch that ball. If he just pulled it into his body to secure it, it doesn't pop out when it hits the ground. It was 4th down and 2. Catch the ball and live another down.
Dez tried to do too much and it bit him in the ass.
Everybody saying the packers would have still won if the call was right acting as if Romo wasn't a 4th quarter comeback beast. Cowboys would have either held them or let them score and romo would have got it done.
There werw 4 minutes left and Rodgers took them downt he field to run the clock out as it was. You can't say the Cowboys woul dhave held them when they already gave up 2 first downs on that last drive and the Packers could run the clock out. The Packers easily could have scored with no time left.
even if he caught it. there still would have been at least 4 minutes left. plenty of time for rodgers
Man the fact we couldn’t win s title this year let alone not make the Sb cuz the meltdown literately hurts my soul
Dez dropped it
A bygone era. :)
I miss Cobb in Green Bay!
And now, where is he? Ironically, in Dallas!
Giants fan here..dez caught that ball then it came lose after contact with the ground..he got robbed..being a giants fan i always had respect for Bryant..on of my fav WR
Someone really needs to get this full game
That fight was crazy he pushed the mess out of him 😂
Even if that was ruled a catch, we were moving right down the field so I think we would've scored again and won anyway
Rodgers would've choked like he normally does in the playoffs.
@@DontDrinkthatstuff by that time was it Rodgers or the defense that was the problem?
@@erikstensaas1202 Huh? I'm saying if we score & go up, Rodgers would've folded like he did the very next week & like he's done in almost every major playoff game he's been in since the 2016 NFCCG.
I am a cowboys fan. This was the era of the statboys, they have lots of yards and records. But short on success.
I love lambeau field. I get butterflies every time I go.
Cowboys were losing this game regardless. There was still 4 minutes left. Rodgers would have marched us right back down to reclaim the lead...
yep. cause he actually was marching down the field right after this play.
Do you have the DAL/GB 2009 game that started Rodgers’ first playoff push?
no packer fell in the fight (personal foul)
Adams went ham this game
He caught the ball, took 3 steps , if anything it’s a ground ruled fumble recovered by him. Really stole touchdown from us.
I'm no Cowboy fan but Dez caught it. Still, I'm highly confident that the Packers would have ultimately prevailed. But it's only a football game played 10 years ago, and in the Great Cosmic Scheme it really doesn't matter.
(packers fan here) i wish dez would’ve caught it honestly, that would’ve left rodgers MOREEEE than enough time 4:00+ minutes to drive down and score are you kidding ? that’s easy work for the goat
Right? 😂 they couldn’t even stop us to punt and get the ball back!! Let alone us actually being down and needing to score
The goat that chokes is no goat. GB should have been back to at least 3 Super Bowls since winning one in 2010-11. One hit wonder.
@@Sports5561 pretty irrelevant to this argument but sure 🥴
Actually there was 4 mins left with the clock running cowboys would of been on the 1 they make green bay use all there time outs and then Rodgers would only have 3 mins with no time outs to score. And please don't act like Rodgers would of came threw so easy because look at his playoffs games he chokes.
@@jeremyandrade5856 dumbass how does he choke?
The Jason Garrett coached Cowboys have never won anything significant, and never will.
Facts straight facts
Everyone complaining about the catch when they missed out on 10 points from a fumbled TD run and a missed field goal lmao
Even then its 4 minutes for Aaron Fucking Rodgers to march down the field
That rookie Adams...gonna be great one day
I remember this game I knew immediately that the issue was he didn’t catch I saw the bobble and I thought he didn’t catch it and even if he did it would be packers ball with 1:55 left in the game going about 80 to 70 yards downfield you think for 10 seconds that Rodgers won’t drive his team deep downfield for a game winning field goal from Mason Crosby
I remember the day before this game it was like -25 in Green Bay with -45 wind chill and I stood outside for like 3 hours just to get inside of Lambeau to shovel. Good times.
That throw at 7:20 was nasty. The first thing in my head was Stephen A Smith saying "He's a baaaaaaaaad man!"
Kinda wish it was a catch so aaron could do a late game drive, hes the best at it by far. Mahomes is a wanna be rodgers lol
yeah and it would have been easy too. would have been about 4 minutes left on the clock. he has done it with much less time.
7:15 that throw omg
He sucks the whole team fing sucks worst call on Dez ever. Hope they don't don't make it to the playoffs this year

It's mind boggling how many passes hit him in the hands just to be dropped
Jondavid Bristow im glad they traded him
to bad the best cowboys team of the last decade couldnt get a ring
Uhhhh you mean, “Dez caught it” because the rule change designated this to be what everyone said it was when it happened. He had clearly made a football move by taking three steps and then falling to the ground. He should’ve been marked at the 1 yard line
@@19shawn85 yes it was. Current rules say so and NFL analysts have said it many times. Try again

Early bird gets the worm.
By rule this was clearly not a catch. Dez should have known the rules and, instead of reaching for the goal line, protected the football while going to the ground.
I thought taking 3 steps was a completion but hey football ain’t the same anymore sports is soft

3:33 Finally!! Crosby successfully drills any field goal yard number matching Donald Driver’s age in any present year number!! 2015 - 40 = 1975
I’m GB’s fan, back in his day, even after the game i tought Dez didn’t drop it. Now i think it was an incomplete pass
8 years later and Dez still didn't catch it.
I agree
Anybody else find it annoying when a receiver clearly makes a catch, but the DBs instantly start waving their arms like an idiot signaling it's incomplete? Then here comes the ref saying it was caught. It happens with fumbles too. A player who's nowhere near the pile and couldn't possibly have seen who recovered it is always doing the "first down" arm chop.
Adams coming out playoff party...:)
This is why Seattle was sent a miracle... That was a catch period an the World knew it...THEY WON THE BATTLE BUT GOD SAID YOU WILL NOW LOSE THE WAR IN A UNBELIEVABLE WAY... THAT LEAD SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE TO COMEBACK FROM WITH A ELITE QB LIKE AARON ROGERS.
What ever happened to Demarco Murray I know he had a breakout year then was shut down, but what happened after that?
Mr. Gecko they traded him to the eagles and didn’t do shit there went to the titans same thing and retired
