I can’t believe it myself! I have been watching him for past few years and he’s dropped weight, and voice got better! Axel needs to call him and ask what the secret is! Definitely deserves to play bigger venues! Come to Philladelphia!
I'm guessing he took some advice from Gene Simmons and started using backing tracks! Seriously, any vocalist who smokes cigarettes the way he has, your voice goes gravelly and those high notes don't come back.

Geoff sounds amazing saw him at town n country club leeds when operation mindcrime was released eyes of a stranger my fave but hate bringing their kids in privellage is not available to most of his fans so no from me

@stephenmccagg , I saw him 9/14/23. He has some reverb and compressor in use, no pitch shifters, and no backing tracks. I know the sound engineer at the venue. My son and I were at the console during soundcheck.

Was there on the 17th in Newport, great show - so many 80’s singers with fucked up voices these days just phoning in their performances. Geoff has still got it and his band were decent as well. Very surreal though that his daughter was running the merch stall lol
Geoff sounds good, but not too keen on his daughter's voice.... It lacks emotion and power compared to the original singer.... Also sounds out of tune in a few spots. Overall, just much much weaker than the original...But again, Geoff sounds good, so all isn't lost.

So many comments sayi lng he has his upper register back. It's not even close. He doesn't sound horrible but this is nowhere near his prime. If you think so go back to the 84 Tokyo version of Take Hold of the Flame, then listen to the most recent version. Nah, he don't sound bad for an old man, but this is not Geoff in his Prime. LaTorre does a better Tate in his prime at this point.

Operation Mindcrime is hands down the best concept album EVER. Saw that tour in Las Vegas and Phoenix and my buddies and I still talk about it today.
