Better refined is a very good description. If you buy 2 boxes and swap arms with bodies it will give you a lot of different models. 👍🏻

Good to hear you talking about the ork boyz and im sup3r surprised more people weren't saying how bad it is. considering a cool ork list has 60-90 boys 10 mono pose doesn't cut it. and 3 being shooters and 7 choppers.... don't get me started. id built up a full ork army except for the boys because i was holding out for this kit now im not sure what to do.... just a minimum squad of boyz and grots to full the troops I guess.

The Eldar flamer has the little aiming tip the fusion does not. The old storm guardians were a finecast upgrade for guardian defenders

Never liked the Aeldari because of their mini's but the new ones... very tempting!

That shuriken catapult looks like toy gun that shoot rubber band when i was a kid lol
Nice infantry unit, really fast and furious with the heavy weapon platform compensate the lack of fire power

How much easier was glueing the arms, the old ones were hell.

Yeah the Ork Boyz is a massive disappointment.. mono-pose, few models and expensive.. Just trash. No wonder few play Orks. Too expensive.

Guardians conscripted, Sup3rSaiy3n? Only if it's Craftworld Ulthwé, or some of the homebrew Craftworlds.
For most Craftworlds, the Guardians are civilians that take up arms in defence of their Craftworld, and are the equivalent to the US National Guard/UK Homeguard.
And I can tell you that a full squad of 20 Guardians, no mater if it's the old ones with a 5+ armour save, or these new ones with a 4+ armour save, requires a not insignificant amount of enemy dakka to get rid of.
Regarding the heavy weapons; they actually friction fit quite nicely in the slot on the gunshield bit. Or you could use the spares with either the Wraithlord, or the War Walker, for a twin heavy weapons loadout.
Oh, I forgot. The old Storm Guardians was a separate kit, originally in metal, then in Finecast resin, containing 6 each of shuriken pistol and close combat weapon (4 chainswords, 2 swords), one fusion gun, one flamer, and 8 heads with that funny hair piece. You added those to the Guardian Defender kit, to make Storm Guardians. The reason for the od numbers of bits is because the old Guardian sprues were in fours; four sets of bodies (3 male, 1 female), four sets of arms, etc. And Guardians were initially 16 to a box, then 8 and a two-crewed heavy weapons platform to a box.
