Bare heads are great for any army. Maybe not tactically the best option, but in terms of giving each model a little individual character, great to build and paint. I make sure to use a mix of helmeted and unhelmeted on every army I paint up.
I have one of those squads. A little FYI, part 63, the Eldar chainsword arm. It's shown in the instructions as being held in a right handed arm; the actual part is a left handed arm. Which is an annoyance, because all the shuriken pistols are also left handed arms. - edit - Addendum. It is a quite good set despite the above-mentioned oopsie. And I am definitely going to get two or three more boxes, so it won't be too big of a problem with the two chainswords that are in the wrong hand.
I heard there are 12 melee weapons (2 of them on the wrong hand) so if you don't use the 2 wrong chainswords you're fine can you confirm this? Also in the worst case i guess i can have some of them dual wielding for fun
Yeah. Two of the chainswords are lefthanded, like the pistols. The other two melee weapons that aren't normal swords or chainswords, are two power swords, and they are right-handed.
Aren't the helmet-less options there for Guardians in an Ynnari force? I think that's what they said when they previewed the helmet-less Dark Reaper heads.
They can be, yes. But the old plastic Guardian Defender sprues also had a single bare head included, and they predate the Ynnari. So I am fairly sure that you can use the bare heads with normal Craftworld Eldar as well as the Ynnari, if you so choose.

the old one had ladies in it as well, also the old kit didn't allow aiming poses either.

They must've accidentally flipped them in casting I guess

100 quid for 3 units of troops! Gulp!
The old kit did have female torsos, don’t think as much as the new kit has tho.
Really? I will have to look into this. Great spot.
@@Sup3rSaiy3n The first plastic Guardians kit had sprues of 4 Guardians each, one with a female torso.
Thumbs up, indeed. Very cool. 👍🏻

@@anneliseolsen6896 oh absolutely. I'm just pointing out the justification they gave on WarComm.
Can you build 4 melta guns with this kit? Looks like that with the sprues
Thanks for the video!
Two flamers, or two fusion guns (Eldar meltaguns) per 10 Storm Guardians.
Can you use the weapons with the old eldar sprues?
6:06 Compared to old Sprue, GW had improved their engineering
If they haven’t improved I’d wonder how they have been making such incredible kits recently.
